So I guess it's one of those weekends where everyone is sitting in an invite only session, in their buzzards on a random rooftop waiting for crates to drop.

 

R* really knows how to organize great events - I commend them on their brain power.

 

If you're not excited about a Flash FM shirt then you're not a big enough GTA fan. Flash FM is arguably the best radio station in the GTA series ever. Both GTA III and VC's Flash FM's were amazing.

A FLASH t-shirt, while great in itself, is NO replacement for a Halloween DLC. -_-

 

Seriously believing R* has given up on PS3/360 GTAO. I'm so done right now.

So making DOUBLE CASH is awesome while doing what I love the most in the game.

Honestly I had no idea about Online when I first bought the game, but Deathmatches are my favourite game mode so at least I can play them more easily/profitably (not that I care about the money) this weekend!

 

As for the shirts, had the Flash FM T-Shirt secured from a Crate Drop before R* announced the event.

Exactly. I replied to the dudes post about his view of the "garbage weekend"....for me its a great weekend. Im going to make double the cash playing the mode im usually in 99% of the time. The t-shirts are just extra and if i happen to be near a crate I will make the effort but as of right now, im just excited about making more money playing Deathmatches, which i would be playing anyways.

ok so tip for everyone, i was in a public lobby with like 4 people and the 10 hour notification came. by the time the crate had dropped i was the only one left in the session. And i picked up the crate and got the t shirt notification but it didnt actually give it to me. 20 minutes later i was in a public lobby with lots of people and got the crate and it actually did show up in my inventory. so i think even if you do get a crate to spawn with only you in the lobby, rockstar has it so you dont actually get the shirt. no way around public lobbies this time it seems.

Nope, infact the last radio station t shirt to drop is Emotion 98.3 Fever 105 on Sunday - which is the only t-shirt I'll probably get.

Same here with me this is f*cking bullsh*t I've checked under special tops and t-shirts and nothing. Took me ages to get a crate drop.

After 4 hours of attempting to collect the crate with a friend, only to have it taken away from me right in front of me by some other player, I finally managed to get the f*cking crate 40 mins ago.

 

 

I couldn't care less about the other shirts. Stupid f*cking idea of making crates spawn with min. 4 players. They should spawn with any amount of players, but with a smaller frequency if there is one player in session only - that'd be better than trying luck in a public f*cking lobby while having limited time at it too.

(The player that took the crate right in front of me ended up getting spawn killed over 20 times and having his/her vehicle blown up 5 times - it was worth paying insurance)

 

Once again, Special Crates is the worst idea R* ever made.
