@who-dat, GTA Online isn't F2P... we need active memberships to PSN (although free on PS3) and XBL Gold to play the game, and we need a hard/digital copy of GTA V to even access Online. Free to Play would be games like Runescape, World of Tanks, games where you're not forced to purchase the product to access it.

 

That's like saying CoD, BF, NBA 2K, FIFA and all of these other games are F2P when their online features are part of the $60 package.

While I agree 100%, and have debated it on these very boards a few times, Rockstar has billed GTA:online as FTP.

Yes, of course I realize GTA5 must be purchased to play online, however, they are stating the online portion is a free addition to us...because it's so obvious rockstar loves their fanbase (sarcasm).

 

Yes, it is a paid game, but that's not how they've billed it or any of the DLC.....there are reasons why they've done things this way, and I'm sure one is to protect themselves from Nancys who call an attorney when they get burned by hot coffee.

Nice to see some new content for GTAV. But what's going to be available for GTAO?

 

Only being able to transfer your character once is perhaps a saveguard against players modding and glitching the crap out of their ps3 and xbox360 and then repeatedly copying that modded and glitched stuff over to ps4 or xbone. Current gen will probably be somewhat better protected against modding and glitching. Or at least that's what R* will be trying.

Indeed. I'm not sure what R*'s obsession with monkeys is these days, but it's getting very tedious. Then again, most of this game's humour was hamfisted into our mouths, don't see why this one wouldn't be.

Nah I'm a realist and content with my 360 at the mo. Even if I could afford it I wouldn't get it as it's too pricey. You know they just added that stuff to sell more pricey copies for the players with no pubes....spoilt brats And to make people stop asking for the H word. All I want is access to a Fleeca bank. Yupper!! Why not? If i could afford one I would. Isnt that why people buy nice cars? Nice clothes? I understand that people have much more adult priorities like kids, a house or car payment.
