Looks like paying for the 'exclusive' DLC last year was a waste of money.

Let me get this straight. Let's say I have a character with 1 million $GTA. I transfer that character (and it's stats and belongings) to the PS4 version.

 

 

So in the end I practically double the money in the bank, 'cause I transferred 1 million $GTA and I would still have the 1 million $GTA on my old system too, so I could continue playing on PS3. Is that right?

Find in there where it says you get to keep the money you already worked for....I'll wait....So, that discussion again? But to be honest, of all the questions they answered in the newswire, this one is again left alone, which is weird, because R* nowhere stated that progression includes money. I personally don't care for more content. I purchased a new gen console in hope that it is less buggy when playing online.

I'm sick of sitting in the clouds for 2 minutes everytime I try to quickjoin a TDM.

I'm sick of getting frozen in the clouds.

I'm sick of the torturous loading times.

And of course all the laggy goofy action that goes on during a TDM like because traffic is on or explosions going off cause the frame rate goes to almost nothing and deem in nearly uncontrollable.

I just want a smooth running game. The original release clearly pushed its limits to the point GTA online at some times felt like a ghost town. I want a live, clean running world.

While looking at the Rockstar Newswire and seeing the new update, they announced the special features of upgrading to Xbox 1, PS4, and PC. The very first image displays one of the perks, the Dodo seaplane. While glancing at the image of the plane, I noticed a Yacht in the bottom of the image sailing by the cost.

 

This brought up the million dollar question; Are we getting Yachts in GTA Online? There is not proof this image is directly from online, and Rockstar could have used one of their menus to drop a ship in the image to give a feeling of realism. My only other problem is that there was a mission in the campaign where Michaels daughter is taken on a boat, but we can still dream. Right?

nobody does, however rockstar promised them, so they'd better stick to their word or they can face a lawsuit. not my problem anyways, i see heists as extended missions

All it takes is one person to file a class action lawsuit. False advertising... they have had a year to deliver. Any moderately intelligent lawyer would take the case against a company who made a billion dollars+ in revenue based on lies. The game didnt even have online available when i bought it. Ps3 made u sign a wavier to not participate in a class action lawsuit (although most courts wont acknowledge it because it is a take or leave contract that was implemented after the consoles had been bought) not gta that forbid the class action.

Also, good luck getting f*cked over your entire life because you are too stupid to stick up for your consumer right. Keep allowing companies to f*ck you and they will keep doing it even more.

If you feel like R* f*cked us, then why do you still play gtaV? Why are you still here on these boards?

If YOU'RE TOO STUPID to realize its a feature in a video game and has no effect on the things that really matter (kids, wife, job, home) then you probably don't have the things I mentioned

If you recall, R* has not charged for any DLC, in addition, they tout GTA:online as a 'free-to-play' experience. Yeah, good luck suing over false advertisement on a free product! R* knew what they were doing billing GTA:online as an FTP and not charging for any content....they were protecting themselves from people like you, who sue at the drop of a hat.

So if the Dukes o death is the exclusive car, i'm hoping the regular dukes is coming for 360/ps3 and those buying the game for the first time on ps4/xb1. I don't really like the look of the DoD and just want a regular orange dukes.

How do? It's still exclusive on PS3/Xbox360. That's the version you paid for.

 

And usually, these "Collector Edition exclusive DLC crap" will be available to purchase later. Common practice and I think it's acceptable enough. You pay more, you get more - for a short time exclusivity, although it's seriously not worth the extra bunch of money.

 

Same like Pre-Order bonus dlc sh*t. It's just a trick to make sure you buy that thing on day 1, while in fact as long as it's first copy, you'll still get the 'Pre-Order bonus', no matter if you buy it one year late.

@who-dat, GTA Online isn't F2P... we need active memberships to PSN (although free on PS3) and XBL Gold to play the game, and we need a hard/digital copy of GTA V to even access Online. Free to Play would be games like Runescape, World of Tanks, games where you're not forced to purchase the product to access it.

 

That's like saying CoD, BF, NBA 2K, FIFA and all of these other games are F2P when their online features are part of the $60 package.

Basically, what happens, is you transfer your entire savefile/character from X360/PS3 to Xbox One/PS4. (EDIT: Or PC, of course!) You can play that one, make money and everything, blah blah blah, make progress. But this means that your character on the OLD consoles aren't going to change. The same goes for the other way around. If you make any progress or any kind of change in your X360/PS3 game, it will NOT affect the one on Xbox One/PS4

 

 

Say you have a level 20 character on PS3. If you transfer him to the PS4 and level him up to level 25 on PS4, the one on PS3 will still be level 20.

The one on PS3 will still be level 20. If you were to level the PS3-guy to level 30, the guy on PS4 servers will still be level 25 from before!

I like the new stuff, but I just wonder how much of those vehicles and features will appear in GTA Online. All the pictures were made in Single Player and there is still no info on animals in Online. The Dukes o Death looks like it has bulletproof windows so I would not be surprised if that's SP only.

Not as personal car (bad sport for blowing it up) In the police vehicle glitch days I had a Police Transporter that cost lots of people 9K if they blew it up (along with bad sport points which was more strict).

b.s. is pretty strict now. Got it twice in 2 weeks. 2 days, then 4 days.
