I have the money to buy a new console and stuff, and I know they're adding all of this stuff as an incentive to buy the new version of their game ( and also an Xbox One or PS4 ), but it's kind of bullsh*t how they're adding all of this sh*t only for the new consoles. PS3 and Xbox 360 users kind of get screwed with this, and there are a lot of people out there who can't afford to buy a new console + $60 dollars for the game...it would be nice if they at least added SOME new content to the "old gen"...this isn't a bitch an moan post, I'm just saying R* should at least give somewhat of a sh*t about the people out there who can't afford a new console...and the people here who are saying oh get a job you lazy potheads, and sh*t like that obviously don't have a very good concept on money, don't have to support a family, or their mommy and daddy bought them an Xbox one or PS4.

 

I know it all comes down to marketing, but damn it's not like R* can't afford to do it, they're rolling in $.

It would appease people who want those cars but can't upgrade right now, but keep some of the stuff exclusive like the dukes o death and nascar livery stallion.

I don't see why R* won't add the regular dukes and stallion to Southern Motors to keep the majority of their fans happy. Some people aren't going to buy next gen regardless of how much money they have or what not because they already own the game. They may, however, buy a future GTA or R* title, or not, depending on how R* treats the 360/ps3 owners after next gen drops.

You don't know this stuff won't make it to last gen consoles. That was never said.

 

In fact, rockstar DID say that after update 1.18, 20gb PS3s will not be able to run the game anymore. If that tells you anything, it should tell you that 1.18 is going to be a substantial update. Whether 1.18 coincides with the current gen release or comes out later is the question.

could've sworn they said updates go for all platforms on their website...I know the "exclusive content" won't be on the 360 or ps3 but the updates are...I think.

I'm more interested in that yacht/cruise liner featured in the Dodo pick than anything .. well, besides the Dukes. Sort of a weak "bonus" though.

 

Really unfortunate there's no "swan song" (at least as of yet, but I don't expect anything) for the PS3/360.
