Mods here are hypocrites. This thread should be moved to the appropriate subsection as ROCKSTAR HAS RELEASED NO INFO REGARDING GTA:ONLINE CONTENT. There is absolutely no guarantee any of this makes it to Online.

 

Its going to be quiet this weekend.

Am I the only one who played SP?

 

The yatch is from a mission in SP. You save Tracy from it. It has been in the game from the very first few screenshots we ever recieved. The whole article only talks about SP.

The release in the newswire stated that if you switch over, your current gen character is still playable, but progress gained from then on, on both accounts, is separate right...? R* could get away with not transferring money, etc to next gen consoles easily by saying "you still have your money, vehicles, apartments... they're on current gen". Same scenario with CE / SE owners... CE & SE will still be "exclusive", just on current gen consoles & we all get to share the joys of the over-rated, poorly handling, but oh so sweet looking Hotknife on next gen.

 

Won't this cause an issue with crews on social club...? If you are character "ABC" on current gen & then switch your character to next gen as the same name, how will social club handle this do you think...? Will character "ABC" be in the crew twice...? Is it possible that a whole new social club may be in the pipeline for next gen...? I hope not... have built some good online relationships with crew mates & people not in my crews. I would prefer not to start this side of it over again.

I just can't understand the hate on next gen ( sorry, current gen).

We're all going to have to change at some point.

It's not like we didn't upgrade from PlayStation to PS2 then to PS3 and no one expected a free version of their previous gen games.

It sucks that they're not backwards compatible anymore, in fact that is the other thing delaying me at the moment but Rockstar are trying to sweeten the blow a little with exclusive DLC that would probably approach the retail price if paid for plus if I've read the loading screens correctly GTA$ 1 MILLION. I've never bought a shark card but I'm sure that costs quite a lot?

So in effect returning players have had a hefty discount.

Now if only PS4 had some other games I'm interested in!

Since this is what were talking about now, according to Urban Dictionary, Humber bridge and Gooch are acceptable terms for this area. Banana hammock and yatch are...something else.

 

On topic, yes everyone noticed the YACHT and clearly only a few people played SP. The yacht has been discussed about every five pages in this thread, thanks to folks not reading the whole thread before posting.

Honestly, if the PC market continues to grow, Sony & Microsoft might be forced to eventually come together in this regard. It won't be soon, but I think it will come at some point.

Which console, PS4 or Xbone?

I currently play on the 360, and have friends I play with on the 360 that have Ones.

 

But I hear with the PS4, it's proven to be better. In almost everything. I've read countless reviews, watched VS videos, the list goes on.

 

I've never been indecisive about anything like this in my life.

 

I need professional help from somebody that knows what they're talking about.

Same same, if you've had Xbox, I'd stick with it. If you want a change then switch. Psn is less reliable I've heard, but it's free, so same same.

no it isn't. It's only free on the ps3. you have to pay for it for ps4 iirc.
