I've never seen that message appear in the game before. Does it keep happening? Make sure all audio files in gta-lc.ini's WavePath section appears in your Audio directory.

Well, that's like 2000 entries to check.

 

Also I reinstalled the mod and now it seems to work.

 

On a side note, there's no FinishInstall.bat even though the FAQ mentions it.

Older versions of the mod has that BAT file. The FAQ hasn't been updated in a while.

Does anyone think SilentPatch would be a good addition to the project? Silent fixed many bugs in Vice City and it would be great to have it as an official part of the mod.

Absolutely. Though I'd prefer those fixes to be directly integrated to our usual files. I know some of his earlier stuff was already put in.

 

But yes, include it all. There's zero downside in my opinion.

I thought it was included already. If not, it should be - all of it.

 

(Is there anything R* original even left now, with all the hardcoded stuff that we modify through all of our DLL, ASI, ... files? Reminds me of the ship of Theseus: Is this still the VC engine if we change enough parts of it?)

If anything, with the advancement of mods since the last GTA LC release, a lot of stuff could be reworked into this, GTA LC could even be used to push a complete working Xbox Map/Vehicles/Models thing, along with custom GInput for GTA3 cheats on VC and SkyGFX/Sil;entPatch for major fixes, all incorporated into the gtalc asi/dll. Not to mention the advanced texture methods we have now and sources from GTA3 Mobile, etc.

Put swim.cs and climb.cs in cleo folder and ped.ipf in anim folder.

BTW this mod compatible with ThirteenAG's Manual aim mod.

Does any CLEO mod work for you? If at least one work, this should work also. You have to download the latest version of CLEO.

I'm not part of the team, amigo... but I've been making progress on XBOX models. Here I spent a small preview.
About animations heads, is an issue that is beyond my current knowledge. I guess someone else will fix it.
I'll upload models soon.

I believe these are the same textures as the ones used by Rockstar on GTA III Android. I recently installed the Droid version and it looks really nice as compared to the PC Edition. I'll take some screenshots when I get on my PC.

In fact, the models and textures are XBOX, so I do not think there is a difference in texture quality and model with the Movil version, since they are the same. Maybe a bit in the animations, since the model tries to recreate the same skeleton that the version of XBOX. Other than that, I do not think there is any relevant change.
