I had a somewhat busy weekend, so I didn't have time to spend all weekend crate hunting. I probably kept missing the KJAH and KRose cycles.

Three days. Countless hours. Fortune spent on Pegasus delivery, Remove Wanted level, Off Radar...but I finally got my two characters the only shirt I cared about....

K-JAH Radio....reggae music is my favorite music and I had to have the shirts. It was brutal at times battling others for the crates. But sometimes it was better than waiting in the Invite Only and spending hours without a notification, even after doing the Wanted Vehicle, Gang Wars, Armored Cars assignments, sometimes the Special Crate Drop message never came. So with some luck and a lot of patience, i got my shirts and I know some people find it super silly that we are excited over some boring t-shirts but since getting the shirts, the sense of accomplishment is so huge that I want to celebrate by buying a new car or maybe even get my 2nd character a Bifta or Sanchez. So yeah the t-shirts matter in that way, you know, makes you feel good. I know I feel AWESOME after i picked up the crate and saw the KJAH Shirt on the list. Best feeling ever.

I just got the "featured event playlist" option when loading up. Is that the norm when an event is over?

But when you go to the playlist in the start menu its not there tho

K thx man. No interest in the playlist was just hoping the armored trucks and HPV's would be spawning still. But....nope. All I got in my limited play today was 3 random disconnects during contact missions for reasons I'd never seen before.

I literally played for over 30hrs STRAIGHT starting Saturday Night 8pm CDT and played on through until Monday Morning at 2am, after the 8 hour cycle of Bounce FM Tee Shirts. Now this does NOT include the time I put in on Friday night through Saturday Morning, where I also got nothing but Bounce FM Off The Shoulder Shirts.

 

So, Out of 31 crates, I managed:

○17- Bounce FM (16 Off The Shoulders & 1 Tee)

○9- K-Dst (0 Off The Shoulders & 9 Tees)[No Female K-Dst Shirt, The Only thing I am missing, in the ENTIRE game!]

○3- K-Rose (1 Off The Shoulder & 1 Tee)

○2- K-Jah (1 Off The Shoulders & 2 Tees)

○1- Empty (no shirt)

 

I have EVERY bit of content up until now, and although it is such a minor piece it does feel as though it has, kind of, ruined the game, or at least it's appeal. I mean I bought the Collector's Edition for this same reason, I played for 30hours STRAIGHT for this same reason, and always make sure to check in here, at the Social Club, and any thread/forum I can find for the SAME REASON, because I can't stand to miss a piece of content, especially when I have certainly put in the time and effort to obtain it.

I feel the exact same but my love for GTA will bring me back. As a collector its very depressing since the only items I was missing were the valentines day stuff cause I'm dumb and forgot they are limited cause its a holiday and that was the first time purchasable things in the shop were taken away. I'm expecting the valentines things to return as well as new things so that didn't upset me much because I had the heart boxers and Cupid mask, Gusenberg, Roosevelt. Although I missed out on alot of valentines day things, as much that upsets me this pointless K-JAH shirt is making me way more upset because of the hours I invested.

A lot of shirt talk, sorry to bring the event playlist into this. Yeah....it blows. Nothing about it is attached to San Andreas. I mean, on the Xbox Dashboard you can buy GTA:SA for $4 (I bought it years ago for the 360 and I play it from time to time - it's still good!) so you'd think R* were making that deal so players who would play GTA:SA would be like, "oh, I remember that from that GTA:O playlist!" Nope. One of the "missions" was a deathmatch and it basically said that CJ hired us to ambush a deal against some ballas and some Russians...correct? Description wasn't that memorable but I do remember it having sh*tty tie-ins that any fanfiction writer could type up. The weapons were placed up high on cargo containers in the docks area as well as a rocket launcher in the office. For the first 2 minutes of the deathmatch I ran around looking for a damn machine gun but turns out it's on a catwalk inside the building. Great. I felt ashamed as I was in free-aim using the rocket launcher as the weapons didn't have that much ammo and took forever to spawn back. I got a cheap win on that one.

I did two matches in total (well, until the one you fight in grove street) until the opposite team, a clan of two players, invited 3 other clan members. I left due to it being unfair and just because the playlist so far was so crap. It's sh*t. I'm hugely disappointed in it. I never moan about updates (I know this isn't one but still) that much because I know that all we're getting is little "tasters", not real DLC in any way. Now I know this was just to remember San Andreas but you'd f*cking think R* would do something good due to the fact that many GTA fans consider San Andreas the best GTA (debatable, yes, but you can't argue that it's a very good game and a staple for R*). Shirts can easily be made. Playlist? Rehashed completely. Some R* employee made it using the Content Creator on his f*cking lunch break.

If R* for some reason celebrates GTA IV, my favorite GTA, I won't even play the playlist if there is one. GTA SA is still an amazing game to me but to know that current R* did such a sh*tty tribute to it gives me a bleak outlook on how the past was better. I don't want GTA IV ruined for me, having the memory of R* being half-assed. Maybe R* are busy with some Halloween update but come on! It's supposed to be a tribute. Do R* try their own stuff out to make sure that things work? The shirts are bugged - you get the same shirt 20 times before variation comes in and then you got a playlist that could be used in the tutorial for the Content Creator. Pathetic.

Not saying I'm not grateful - I actually think it's awesome R* keep their history in mind but they could of done such a better job.

Sweet and Kendl was, I think, drawing inspiration from SA's bike missions. Problem is, the route made isn't even reminiscent of SA. It's basically a cross-city BMX race. I like bikes, I like bike races, but that is immensely boring. The BMX isn't even that fast.
