Now, head to the modding section and see the "silentpatch" thread. Wonder if all those issues reported and fixed there will be featured on this re-release. I was seeing this coming, because I thought it was odd for R* to release the mobile version so early, without naming it 10th year anniversary. It meant that R* had better to offer for one of their most beloved and cult game ever. I'm so happy ! I still play the Xbox Live Origin version ... In fact, I've never really stopped playing San Andreas for an extended period. I can't f*cking wait for the official announcement, which will features the list of the improvements ! There's no way they're going to remake the entire game, it's almost as much work as making a new game. For the mobile versions of GTA III, VC, and SA, they usually announced it around October/November, followed up by a December release date. But I sure hope the game isn't going to look like the mobile version. I hope it is a proper remaster that has graphics that would compete with other games on that respective platform. I also hope to see them do a classic mode where it looks like the original, kinda like what was done on Halo Combat Evolved 10th Anniversary Edition. However, here are the things I'm concerned about. 1. I already bought the original Xbox version of the game on the Xbox 360 Marketplace. Do I have to re-buy it if I want the new version? 2. Is it coming to PS4 and Xbox One? The PS2 Classic version on PSN, and the Xbox Originals version on Xbox Live doesn't say much about PS4, Xbox One, PS Vita, or even Wii U for that matter (doubt it is coming for Wii U). 3. What does this say about the PC version? Do people who bought the original one on Steam get it for free? Is it going to be like an update to the original game to allow it to support the latest features? Could it be the Windows 8 Store version that will get upgraded? Is it a separate download? Above all else, I want this for PC. 4. What will be upgraded? When you go from 6th gen graphics to 7th gen graphics, it is a much bigger leap than going to 7th gen graphics to 8th gen graphics. The game will look a lot different if its upgraded to look like other games that are on the respective systems. 5. If they are doing an HD overhaul, why leave out GTA III, and GTA VC? But don't make much hype it's probably that they use the Renderware of Mobile Devices, sadly. Would be great, but as someone who got to 95% completion on the XBOX Original already I don't feel like getting it again for achievements. Jerome Posted October 22, 2014 Share Posted October 22, 2014 (edited) Original Xbox release had horrible aliasing issues and image quality suffered greatly from it, it wasn't any better on 360 either. I hope this version has improved upon that. Me too, I recently obtained SA on my Xbox and god, it looks like sh*t, there's so much aliasing. It looks like it was the first game they released on the console. Maybe i'll buy it if it's remastered with better graphics than the iOS version (which looks good but not for a current and next-gen console) and if it's not too expensive.
