The Walking Dead by pb76

 

Weapon Placement: This part was weird. Why's the pump shotgun the starting weapon but the molotov and melee weapons are pick-ups? I see balancing issues here. You should change the pick-ups to pistol, sawed-shotgun, assault rifle and keep the molotovs.

I tend to make the best weapon the forced also, stops people moaning about the other team having better pickups!

This is my Monster truck race. I couldn't find a way to make it so only Liberators and Marshalls could be used. Good luck getting ppl to use them. Everyone I play with has used Sanchezs. Let me know what it need, what needs to be fixed, etc. Thank you

Have created an air race and would appreciate any feedback (PS4):

The race starts at Mt. Chilliad, drops down and winds across the Alamo Sea, before going under the bridges in Raton Canyon and buzzing the tower at Fort Zancudo, then a flypast of the Vinewood sign, before diving downtown and over Maze Bank Tower, then under a final bridge and finishing at Los Santos Airport.

 

Jets are recommended, as the race will take approx. 5 minutes with the Lazer or Besra.

 

I have played it with my crew and received positive feedback, but would appreciate more people's thoughts.

The Italian Job

2-12 Players (recommend at least 6)

 

Steal the gold and race through Vinewood, the subway tunnels, and the drainage ditch. First team to secure 2 bags of Gold at their drop off wins. Team 1 uses mini coopers and gets a head start. Team 2 use motorcycles, Uzis, and have access to a chopper but start further away. Each round will swap teams. Good luck! (Based on the 2003 film, "The Italian Job")

de_dust2_dm by Mr_Grandis (Late review is late)

Props: The prop placement was extremely satisfying. Works great for both a homage to the classic Counter-Strike and a nice way to isolate and funnel the action to certain areas.

 

Weapon Placement: Weapons were placed differently here for a change from the other two creations I reviewed, where the weapons are actually well-spaced out and have a nice variety too.

 

Team Start & Spawn Points: Spawn points are reminiscent of the respawn system in CS1.6 and it actually works in the deathmatch, I've seen it done before but this one makes it works.

 

Overall: de_dust2_dm is one of the very few gems that happen among the creator community that's just a joy to play because of how much it works, this creation gets my first 10 out of 10, there is nothing wrong with it. Nothing. This map deserves all the plays it has and is worth every second.

Hill Climb by zakkant

Checkpoint Placement: Checkpoints here were well placed, they weren't too far away from each other nor too close.

 

Props: Props weren't exactly used in a new or exciting way in this race, but they get the job done.

 

Overall: You got a good track here, but it could seriously benefit by being a lap race and could have a higher player cap. I give it a 6/10. Good track, but doesn't try or do anything to set itself apart from other racing tracks.

Ivan Steelman's OFF ROAD by AGNT009

Checkpoint Placement: For an off-road race this is as good as it gets. You did a good job here, but I think that CP 31 could be positioned a bit more to the left and closer to the expected player route.

 

Props: Props were used well here, the ramps are a blast to jump and jumping the swamp and landing on the water is oddly satisfying to hear and drive around in. My only gripe is that the barriers at CP 22 were rather obligatory and could go.

 

Overall: This off-road track by AGNT009 is a enjoyable, entertaining, and fun off-roading track using clever use of the props in the creator. I give this a 8/10, the track works well and would be a great placeholder at events or just something to play with friends. Unfortunately I couldn't play the whole playlist the creator sent me due to time issues, but the track alone is a pretty solid package.

Action Movie: Starts next to Fort Zancudo, entering it throught the ground ramp next to the tunnel and exiting helped by a ramp just to get the 4 stars and begin the mayhem. Then, just hop in to the highway and evade the police and military attacks with some rockets. There are some block roads where you can jump (easier) or go through them. Almost everyone who hitted the dislike button was because they lost that race, but they did repeat the race, so I guess they did like it.

 

Best results with Batti or fast bikes like that.
