Will probs add the AKs to upgrade the action, but that would mean needing to buff up the starting weapon to something else. The jerry cans explode when shot(I never knew neither til I was told!), not gonna put props on the middle of the runway thou! They spawn points in the open have sniper rifles next to them... which out-range the smgs and should probs do the same with AKs.

Ron Bishop Kart Track

1_0.jpg

Checkpoint Placement: CP placement is just fine here, nothing you should change.

Props: Props are perfectly placed, good job on this part!

Overall: As much as I liked the track, I'm giving it a 6/10, average. The only real thing holding this race back is that you chose the blazer as the only vehicle in the race, and the blazer handles too bad on turns that just ruins the perfectly good race. Please edit the track and open it to all motorcycles.

The blazer's handling on turns is pure sh*t, and there's a lot of points where you have to turn, so trust me on this one.

I've played this track. Can I add my opinion (will edit this post if it's not welcome). The Blazer handles a lot like a 'go kart' and the track is challenging because of the way it turns and the tight and narrow corners.

I liked it though, so did the others who played it, I don't agree with your review Dillono, about there being a need to make it open to other motorcycles, it wouldn't suit it as well.

Track has to be played non contact, and one thing I'd mention is that a few more props to guide the racers wouldn't be amiss when you drive around the gas station pumps, it was a bit confusing at first here.

Look forward to reading more of your reviews Dillono :^:

I really just think the blazer is real bad, a simple bati, sanchez, or akuma could do just fine.

Oh well, it's all about personal preference.

ROOF TOP CLOSE QUARTER

1_0.jpg

Props: I liked the use of containers in this LTS, gives it a maze vibe to it. Possibly try to put a wooden box or two or even some armor in no man's land? Might give a small "king of the hill" theme to it.

Weapon Placement: Weapon placement and choice was just fine here, however I might go as far to say that the grenades are OP (overpowered) in this map, because it's so small, leaving barely any room for people to get out of the way of the grenade.

Team Start Points: Team start points are okay, little too generic but it gets the job done. One thing that did notice my eye though, is that you capped the job with 16 whole players, and with a map of this size it would be too over-crowded, you should change the player cap to 8 or 12 players.

Overall: Decent-ish map, needs some work but it isn't horrendous to play through it. 5 out of 10, average.

Need for Massacro

1_0.jpg

Checkpoint Placement: CPs aren't as clean as you might of thought they were, because there's so many times a CP is too close to another or just "there", so try to spread out your CPs more and don't put them too close together.

Props: Prop choice was a surprise, I would've thought you'd just use a bunch of red and white stripped barriers or tires. The first set of props can be changed to something a little cleaner or just place them down closer together so they look less spread out and more professional. Also the ramp to the horse track can go, try to find a way around it. The two ramps at the end are obligatory too, get rid of those when you can.

Overall: Excellent vehicle choice, the massacro is always glued to the ground which makes it great for the corners and turns. Strangely, the massacro isn't the locked vehicle in the race, so it's essentially broken. 7 out of 10, good race track, good vehicle selection, but some of the ramps should go.

Need for Massacro

I decided to put those large gas tank props because I noticed players kept going off track right on the first corner,(some people don't know how to break).

Strangely, the massacro isn't the locked vehicle in the race, so it's essentially broken.

I don't know how to do that... :/

I'll see what I can do, anyway thanks for your review.

House Party

Gamemode: Team Deathmatch

Players: 2-10

Time: 10 min

Forced + Pickups (Recommended for a better experience)

Description: Things get out of control in this party when everyone is drunk and have a gun in their hands. Be careful with small gas cylinders hidden between the bushes. Good luck and have fun! Created by carambazmg. L1 to bookmark when finished.

To lock any race to one vehicle go to available vehicle's in race menu, untick all classes, now on the desired class (this example massacro is sports) press square and then tick the one vehicle you would like.

Dillono, just a side note on your rating: if someone presents a track that is clearly made for one specific vehicle, just accept this as it is. Try to be open-minded if you want people to accept your reviews as valuable.

Giving it a low rate just because it is what it is (and you don't like that) isn't helpful.

6 out of 10 isn't even a low rating, it means it's above average. I can respect a good track paired with good vehicle choice, but this was a good track with bad vehicle choice. And keep in mind I don't walk into my reviews thinking that the creations going to be jack sh*t, I always host them with the thoughts of them being great, if not there would probably be 3 out of 10's right now.

I think the point here is that personal preference should not make an effect (positive or negative) on a review. If you don't personally like Blazers this should not effect the rating, but hey this is your review section you make the rules, however I think you will find the majority will agree with this.

Dillono, so how about leaving the rating out? Just write what you think about a job. Don't measure it in points. That way you can express your likes and dislikes without 'discriminating' a job that doesn't meet your personal preferences. And you can give your tips on how you think it might be improved. The creator decides if your view is helpful to him or not. :)

We all differ a lot (and that's fine) in our tastes of what a good job is.

I.e. I find a lot of deathmatches and races boring or repetitive that many others love to play. And vice versa.

It's all really to show players creations that deserve the score or motivation for people to make better jobs, this thread was made with the ambition to help recent and veteran creators, I also hope that the whole Ron Bishop Kart Track fiasco is over with.

Now let me just run through the list real quick:

Surf and Turf by RO9M-lml

1_0.jpg

Props: Nice symmetrical prop placement, I also like how the vehicles act as cover too, makes it feel more like an intense movie shootout.

Weapon Placement: Good selection of weapons for a map like this, I think that there should be more health/armor pickups though.

Team Start/Spawn Points: Spawns seem to work just fine, they usually do for TDMs anyway.

Overall: A fine Team Deathmatch with balanced weapons and balanced teams, good for small crew vs. crew battles; it's safe to say Surf and Turf is a great example that good things come in small packages. 7 out of 10.

Thanks for the review dillono.

Your review is actually pretty good and you're actually correct in most of it IMO, but there is some points I really disagree on as well.

So I feel I need to give you some feedback also.

First off all I agree that the start points is pretty easy to place out in any map, and they're actually working in almost any setting you try them out if you have an open mind.

What I won't agree with you is the spawn points, this is a pretty small map and you can cover all of it from the roof, so to actually "say" that setting spawn points is the easiest thing there is.. is a sucker punch, there will always be some work cut out for you when setting spawns in such a intense DM, I don't know how many times I've played it now but I've still not been spawn killed, neither spawned killed anyone, I've got enough DM experience to say they usually don't always work fine.

When it comes to the armour and health I totally disagree with you, there's 3 of each that should be more than enough for this small map and 10 players.

The Score 7/10?

Just wondering how you score it?

Because from what I'm reading and the score you've set it just doesn't add up? and I think that the people that reads it would agree with me.

The only thing you mentioned/complained about is the lack of armour and health, does this really count as 3 points in your world?

And that isn't even a fluke/fault it's just your own opinion, You say it so nice yourself, You think there should be more health and armour.

You should read some more of Stronktanks feedback on the race's, that's good feedback, constructive feedback where he specific tells you what to change to make it better.

If you had deducted me 1 point for it I wouldn't even react, but now it just seems like 1 point for your opinion and two unfriendly points from the air.

When that is said, I love reading feedback on my work, both good and bad, but either way it should be constructive, so thanks again for the review.

But if there should be a next time please tell me the reason for deducting points or just leave the score out of it.

You're acting as if I took 3 whole points off because of some health/armor pickups, I took 3 points off because well, the map isn't exactly groundbreaking, or entirely something ambiguous or new. While I'm at it I might as well give away my rating system:

1 out of 10 - You're creation is pure sh*t, and needs a lot of work.

2 out of 10 - You're creation is pretty bad, here's what needs work.

3 out of 10 - You're creation isn't great, but it's riddled with potential.

4 out of 10 - You're creation is a little bit enjoyable, but needs work yada yada.

5 out of 10 - You're creation is enjoyable, but not perfect.

6 out of 10 - You're creation is above average, but lacks ambition or greatness.

7 out of 10 - You're creation is very enjoyable, however it isn't exactly groundbreaking or completely new.

8 out of 10 - You're creation is either new and pulls it off moderately well, or you're creation isn't groundbreaking but has enough variety and atmoshpere for the majority to enjoy it.

9 out of 10 - You're creation is near perfection, however [insert what might need work here].

10 out of 10 - You're creation is one of the best, and worthy of getting a 10 out of 10.

That's because that's the only thing your pinpointing, so what should I believe? You tell me..

And when the only thing you referred to really isn't an issue, I start question your methods.

Really don't understand why that "scoreboard" should be a secret though, that actually helps people understand your score.

That's actually pretty ironic considering I actually review jobs way faster than Mckeever does.
