Your transference of capital to another entity is transference of power. I'm all for people refusing to buy things they don't like and be critical, but I do have a problem with angry mobs bullying others into conforming to their rules. And it's pretty f*cking clear that plenty of people would like to see this game banned. Perhaps nobody said it in this particular thread but I do believe that the world exists outside this forum.

 

I see a lot of arguments these days about what is and isn't censorship. Perhaps a certain retailer not selling a game isn't technically censorship but if every retailer caves to demands of an angry mob, if game developers feel they can't make the games they want for fear of a backlash then the end result is the same bloody thing.

 

Anyway, I disagree. So probably should just leave it at that. And while you guys who have a problem with this game or the creators are obviously welcome to stay in the thread and bitch about it, I honestly can't see why you bother. After my last comment here, I don't think those moralists will be back here soon saying that the devs will use the money from the Hatred sales to buy gas chambers unless they're wanting to help me merchandise this game here even more at their expenses, of course.

 

The only dumb here was them for falling into my Hatred merchandising trap by using their "hatred for Hatred" to do it and they gave me what I was looking for, propagate the 2015 GOTY

I am not mad at all. It isn't a game. Is it being marketed as a game in the first place? No. As being said in this thread many times before, the only reason people are talking about it is because it's violent. It has nothing apart from that so it does not qualify as a "game" to me. For me a game should have some decent gameplay elements. If this was similar to Manhunt, then I think I might have been a little interested but nah.
