GTA is nothing like Hatred. You can kill people in both games but that's it. GTA is a satrical representation of America. Hatred isn't. You can't explore the world in hatred, you can't create your own fun in hatred, you can't play fun missions in Hatred. Hatred is just mindless shooting. You can go on rampages in GTA too but it's entirely optional. You can always explore the world and soak in the atmosphere in GTA like it's real-life. You can't do that in Hatred.

 

Hatred forces the player to be violent, GTA doesn't. Sure missions like 'By the book' may contradict my claim but the extreme violence is mostly limited to certain missions.

 

Before anyone brings up Manhunt and Postal, at least they had some interesting gameplay elements while Hatred is just very generic. It's main marketing point is encouraging violence while games like GTA had other marketing points besides mindless rampaging such as a good story, multi protagonists and a great world.

 

I don't care if these guys are neo-nazis ir not, Hatred is also not appropriate in the current situation due to the recent terror attacks, the one in a school in pakistan in particular which resulted in 142 deaths, 132 children died.

 

In short: Hatred isn't a game, it's a cash grab. It just wants attention. You may find the violence funny now but you'll get bored of it in 5 minutes after you get it and ask "Why the hell did I buy this?". But you are falling for their trap, they want money and attention for a game that does not deseve a single penny.

Personally I'm not convinced by the neo-nazi claim, more importantly, and as I said earlier, I don't really care. What I am conviced of is that the simple fact that this game exists seems to offend certain people's delicate sensibilites so much, they're are going to try and smear it in any way the can think of.

 

I can understand people not liking the content of the game, but I can't understand why these same people think it's their business to tell others what games can be made and played.

Hatred isn't a racist game and praise the equality between all type and classes of persons, this is the reason everyone dies in Hatred.

 

I don't know what's the real problem of a black person dying in the trailer if the most part of the killed people in the trailer are white persons... and a lot of black persons dies in GTA, so there isn't a single problem here.
