SeaWallTx
Okay, everyone has been going on and on about how the "Paint/Color/Tint Stock Wheel" Glitch/Exploit was patched, well it turns out it wasn't. There was just a simply change. You DO NOT need the iFruit app or the Charles Proxy Program either, all you need is the Game and the Vehicle you want to paint the Wheels on. Then all you have to change about the old glitch is make sure to pick the "Stock Wheel" in a different category as the wheel that you "Wheel Type" of the Wheel you JUST colored, or the "Stock Wheel" will NOT keep the color. Pics for Proof: (\/ Tutorial Below \/) PATCHED (on both Gen.s, as of 11/22/14) The ONLY method that seems to work NOW is the "iFruit/Charles Method":("http://gtaforums.com...es-ifruit-tut/"), and of course a Save Editor and a CURRENT "Bring Story Mode Vehicles into Online" Glitch. ☛NEW Paint/Color/Tint Stock Wheel on Most Vehicles:(NON-iFruit Method/In-Game LSC Method) *This glitch ONLY worked for Online, for Story Mode you would have to use the "iFruit/Charles Method"("http://gtaforums.com...es-ifruit-tut/") or a Save Editor. ➸Once in an "Online Session" obtain the vehicle you wish to color the "Stock Wheel" of and drive it in to the nearest LSC,➸Then scroll to the "Wheels" section and go to "Wheel Type">"Muscle" and purchase the cheapest wheel,(Muscle has the cheapest wheel in it.) ✓(But if for some odd reason you would want you "Stock Wheel" to be chosen out of the "Muscle" "Wheel Type" category then choose a different "Wheel Type" now. You MAY want to do this for the Handling effects that the "Wheel Type" category changes make on the Vehicle.)➸Now back out to the "Wheels" menu and choose "Wheel Color",➸Then select the color you what to Paint/Color/Tint the "Stock Wheel",➸Now back out to the "Wheels" menu and choose "Wheel Type" and select ANY "Wheel Type" category EXCEPT "Muscle",(or the "Wheel Type" you have on the vehicle now.) ✓(If you try to pick the "Stock Wheel" in the same category as the wheel that you JUST colored, the "Stock Wheel" will not keep the color.) ➸Then purchase/select the "Stock Wheels" again from ANY OTHER "Wheel Type" category, EXCEPT "Muscle"(or the "Wheel Type" you have on the vehicle right now.), like "Tuner" or ANY one you like they are all the same for the most part,✓(If the Paint/Color/Tint is not there, then you are in the same "Wheel Type" you choose in the first place to paint and need to select a different "Wheel Type".) ➸Now the "Stock Wheels" in ANY OTHER "Wheel Type" category will be Painted/Colored/Tinted the "Wheel Color" you had just chosen on the previous wheels, just like every other Wheel in the Selection,➸Once you have selected the "Stock Wheel" from ANY "Wheel Type" category EXCEPT "Muscle", or whatever one you picked to color you can simply back out to the Main LSC menu and continue Modifying your Vehicle or Exit LSC completely,➸Enjoy!Tips: ✘Once you have done this glitch, you can go back to LSC at any time and change the "Wheel Type" category of the "Stock Wheel" to ANY "Wheel Type" category now that "Stock Wheel" is available in EVERY "Wheel Type" category. You MAY want to do this for the Handling effects that the "Wheel Type" category changes make on the Vehicle.✘This has been confirmed to work on the Phoenix, Granger, Elegy RH8, Merryweather Mesa, Turismo R, Dubsta, Akuma, Double-T, Oracle(not sure which), Sandking(XL), Mesa, and it is "said" to work on ALL bikes & most muscle cars. ✘The color will be affected by the color of the "Stock Wheel" if it is dark, like the Phoenix's then it will darken the color. For instance if you used Race Yellow Wheel Color on a Phoenix it would only appear as a Dark Deep Gold on the "Stock Wheel", as in the Pic below; ✘This does NOT work for ANY of the "Shiny Chrome" Stock Wheel. ✘This does NOT work for the Adder, Baller(2005 Range Rover), Bison, Buffalo, Duneloader, Felon(GT), Minivan, Ratloader, Stanier, and Voltic.(It will NOT work on any vehicle that has the SAME stock wheels as the vehicles in this list.) Thanks for the post, but I'm definitely having a hard time following. Then use the full tutorial I posted below that message. It should certainly help clear things up, you cannot put the "Stock Wheels" on the car from the same category as the wheels that you JUST colored, the ones in the same category won't take the color, but all the others will. After 1.17 "Stock Wheels" are in Every Category. If you still can't follow or understand what I mean then simply try it, you'll get it, it's really not hard. Certainly far more simple then the iFruit/Chalres/Modding/PC Method, lol.
skimzoor
Does not work. Atleast not on the Felon.. Edit: Tried with 5 other cars from the street aswell. No luck. Edited October 17, 2014 by skimzoor
SeaWallTx
Does not work. Atleast not on the Felon.. Ah, dammit, that's another car added to the list... ...I already had "✘This does not work for the Duneloader, Voltic, Etc." but now I'll have to add the Felon and I assume the Felon GT to the listbummer, but thanks for posting, please post anymore vehicles that you find that this does NOT work on... ...That's why it's the "NEW Paint/Color/Tint Stock Wheel on Most Vehicles:" Glitch! This has been confirmed to work on the Phoenix, Granger, Elegy RH8, Merryweather Mesa, Turismo R, Dubsta, Akuma, Double-T, Oracle(not sure which), Sandking(XL), Mesa, and it is "said" to work on ALL bikes & most muscle cars. Right, that is true, in the tips I posted "✘The color will be affected by the color of the "Stock Wheel" if it is dark, like the Phoenix's then it will darken the color." like on my Phoenix I had to put Race Yellow to get them to appear slightly gold, like in the pic below, My Bandit Imitation; (Later I put North Yankton Plates on it,) Also the Elegy RH8 is very much the same when it come to certain color and the Granger is when it comes to Reds. Delta India Echo
Does not work in SP because when you choose the stock wheel the color will change, but when you buy it it's gone. It's a great way to test which vehicke supports stock colored wheels though. EDIT This does not work with ANY chrome stock wheel. Only with glossy wheels. You should add this on the main post. SeaWallTx
Patched. Really, did you check on any of the "Confirmed Working" Vehicles? Phoenix, Granger, Elegy RH8, Merryweather Mesa, Turismo R, Dubsta, Akuma, Double-T, Oracle(not sure which), Sandking(XL), Mesa. And it doesn't work if your wheel is already colored, you MUST do the entire glitch, you can't simply enter LSC with a colored wheel and then choose a "Stock Wheel" it won't work that way, but I am about to go Online so I will check this out with a Granger or Phoenix(they are the best) and let y'all know, one way or the other(with pics) A.S.A.P. SeaWallTx
[PATCHED] (With Hope!) This glitch has been PATCHED, it NO LONGER allows you to KEEP the Paint/Color/Tint on Stock Wheels, it NOW only allows you to "Preview" the Paint/Color/Tint, because the Paint/Color/Tint does show on the Stock Wheels until you confirm that you want them on the Vehicle, then it goes back to "Alloy". This happens EVEN if the Stock Wheels HAD previously been Paint/Color/Tint, which can be found spawning in-game on vehicles like the Phoenix and the Granger. So on vehicle such as those you CAN change the Paint/Color/Tint of the Stock Wheel BUT only Back to "Alloy". The Original Paint/Color/Tint of the Stock Wheel, which became Alloy; (...However...) There MAYBE hope yet, at least for Personal Vehicles, since we CAN "Preview" the Paint/Color/Tint on the Stock Wheels, then there is still most likely an IN-GAME Method for getting this to work, we simply MUST find it. Now the reason I say PERSONAL VEHICLES, is because I have this idea that possibly changing the session while "Previewing" the Paint/Color/Tint on the Stock Wheels could make it stick(kind of like the "Free Clothing" Glitch), maybe "Find New Session" or "Creator" or even better try being "On Call" and getting pulled out of LSC. Anyways I guess what I am saying is that this still has some hope yet, so while this method is PATCHED for now, it may not be PATCHED for long. I say PATCHED with HOPE, and the HOPE comes from the PIC BELOW;

SeaWallTx
Okay, I have found a way to make it work, at least until 1.18, once 1.18 comes out this will no longer work; IF you use one of my Bypass Glitches, I have tutorials on how to bypass HOTPATCHES, then the tutorial above should go back to working,... ...Because IF it was patched in a HOTPATCH since/during 1.17, it CAN be Bypassed by using the Glitch Tutorial Below, but once a new update has come out all previous HOTPATCHES becomes sealed in/ locked in, they become part of the last update and no longer hotpatches, BUT as long as it has been HOTPATCHED since 1.17, which this has been because it worked one night and not the next, so one of the bypasses should work. -Bypass All Current HOTFIXES/HOTPATCHES(2 Methods)(Method 2 Confirmed) Before You Start:~Make sure the Last Online Character you used is the one you want to use for the Glitch.~Make sure the "Spawn Location" for your Online Character is set to "Last Location".~Also MAKE SURE that your Online Character has NO Personal Vehicles outside of the Garage. METHOD 1: ~First start in an "Online Session" and press “Start” and go to “Online” and select “Leave GTA Online”, ~Then once in Story Mode go ahead and Quit the game, ~Now... PS3: Once at the XML go to the "Account Management" and, if already "Signed In" then choose "Sign Out" and, uncheck/unselect "Auto-Sign In", then Power Off the console, Xbox360: Now Power Off the console and once the console has powered down, unplug your Ethernet Connection from your console.(If you have NO Ethernet simply unplug your router/modem.) ~Then the Console is powered off and disconnected from the Internet, power it back ON, and when you get to the XML/Dashboard, make sure that “Auto-Sign-In” is Off, ~Now Start GTAV and let the game load in to Single Player Story Mode, ~Then once in Story Mode.., PS3: Press “Start” and go to “Online” at which point it will ask you to sign in, so DO SO, and then once it has done so choose "Play GTA Online" and start a "Closed Crew Session"/"Closed Friend Session", Xbox360: Reconnect the Internet Connection to your console(If you have NO Ethernet simply plug your router/modem back in.) and wait about 30 seconds(Until your router/modem is powered up and has grabbed your IP.) and Press “Start” go to “Online” choose "Play GTA Online" and start a "Closed Crew Session"/"Closed Friend Session", ~Now Start your chosen Glitch... METHOD 2: ~First start with the system at XML/Dashboard, ~Now... PS3: Once at the XML go to the "Account Management" and, if already "Signed In" then choose "Sign Out" and, uncheck/unselect "Auto-Sign In", Xbox360: Unplug your Ethernet Connection from your console.(If you have NO Ethernet simply unplug your router/modem.) ~Then... PS3: ...go to "Games">"Game Data Utility" and find the file named "Grand Theft Auto V"(the one WITHOUT "Install" in the name) and Press "Triangle" for the Options, then delete it, Xbox360: ...go to "System">"Storage Devices" and find "Hard-drive"/"Memory Unit" and Press "Y" for the Options and select "Clear System Cache", choose "Okay", and after it is done restart the system, ~Now... PS3: ..., make sure that “Auto-Sign-In” is Off, and then go to the GTAV Icon and press "Triangle/Y" to pull up the options, and select "Check for Updates" and download the updates, Xbox360: ...the Console is powered off and disconnected from the Internet, power it back ON, and when you get to the XML/Dashboard, make sure that “Auto-Sign-In” is Off, ~Now STILL SIGNED OUT, Start GTAV and let the game load in to Single Player Story Mode, ~Then once in Story Mode press "Start" to pause the game and go to "Online" at which point it will prompt you to "Sign In", DO SO, ~Now once you are "Signed In" select "Play GTA Online" and then select either "Closed Crew Session" or "Closed Friend Session", it doesn't matter which,(If someone joins your session that already has the patch installed it MAY affect your gameplay, or is you switch sessions in MAY as well.) ~Then once in an "Online Session" Start your chosen Glitch... Source:"http://www.se7ensins...e-ps3.1181880/" Source:"http://gtaforums.com/topic/707912-exploitsglitches-compiled-list-for-update-thread/" I personally would TRY method 1 first, then method 2, because method 1 just takes far less time.
