I grew up with LCS and my favorite character was Salvatore cause he was cool and had a badaas car and gangs cool.gif. I always hated angry.gif this mission and I remember him when I was crossing on Leone Territory. then I decided to play Lcs where the gang was like family to me biggrin.gif . i got 100% on it.

At the time I thought "No, he deserved it", but if anyone remembers that remarkable topic posted by RiffRaff1138 where the whole situation is looked at objectively and turned on its head, it has become very ambiguous. You can find the topic here. Just a well thought-out idea.

I felt hurt when he betrayed me, he was going to make me a 'made man' but the old fool had to go.

I liked working for the mafia, but because he betrayed me... lets just say he betrayed the wrong guy.

He seemed a good guy to work with until he betrayed Claude, so he had to die and Claude always gets his revenge.

Personally, I always look forward to working for the Mafia in GTA, so I guess I would've preferred to leave Sal alive.

He deserved it, plus the story had to move on. If you want mafia all the way, play LCS.

I didn't feel sad. I had Claude's way of thinking: Wait what? You betrayed me? Oh well *bang*

No regrets

After the latest stunt that cj pulled on him he grew paranoid. Why did'nt sal just warn claude that people betrayed him and that he hope's claude is loyal.

That bastard got what he deserved. Though I do think the Leones are the best GTA gang ever (after GSF)

He really deserved because he used Claude just as a cleaning tool. And as he said "It's my favourite cleaner". And after that when he didn't need him - Salvatore payed someone to rig a car to blow. He deserved to die! No one f***s with Claude!

Omnia sunt Communia

When I first killed Salvatore, I felt upset. He was an interesting character and one of my favourites. I didn't really mind that he tried to kill me; as I thought it was my own fault for fraternizing with his wife. Haha.

Second time around, I didn't care. The Yakuza had now become my favourite gang and I was angry at Salvatore for betraying me; especially after all I did for him.

My third time, after playing Liberty City Stories, I felt upset again. After doing everything for Salvatore as Toni in 1998, I felt like I had put all that work to waste as he was dead; and I was the one who did it!

He was a good old bastard father figure...you look after me, I look after you. At the end of the day its all business and getting rid of the competition and that included you (me...us) biggrin.gif

Remember Liberty City Stories?

Every dog has his day.

The guy got what was coming to him. He betrays Claude, he treats those closest to him like sh*t and after all Toni did for the guy he stiffs him with the money. Only paying about half of what hhe promised.

Salvatore was a total bastard. He got his comeuppance.

I didn't like killing Salvatore because he was a cool character and I liked him and his gang in LCS. However, the Leones were annoying in III with their shotguns.

I personally at the time felt like I could work for the maffia the rest of the game. Enter the plottwists...

(Same thing: I would have enjoyed myself in Portland for another 20+ missions after this one)

It was sort of sad to me because I liked working for the Mob and not so much Kenji and Asuka.
