I'm not sure how many of you guys are huge car enthusiasts. I'm going to assume a great deal of you guys are considering the game focuses on automobiles so strongly haha. I really wish Rockstar would expand the customization category. I've had some ideas and was wondering if you guys agree, or disagree. Some might only intrigue die-hard gear heads, and some are jjust me nitpicking haha.

 

 

 

How Rockstar Should Expand Their Customization:

 

1. Allow all cars to have the same customizing options.If you can put a drift wing on a futo, we should have the option to put one on the Stanier (Crown Vic). While I personally wouldn't, we all know someone who would do it in the game, and real life, and think it looks good. That would add diversity to the custom cars and benefit those who run and go to car shows. Also, adding more cowl hoods for more of a muscle feel, and maybe even drag slicks would be nice.

 

2. The Bobcat XL is one of my personal favorite trucks in GTA 5. However, I think I would love it even more if there was an option to remove the front brush guard and mess around with different grills. Maybe even colored brush guards.

 

3. Lately I've seen a lot of stanced cars, and I thought to myself, "It would be a lot better if Rockstar offered the option to slam and stance any vehicle." It would be a lot easier than having to waste ammo.

 

4. Personally, I feel this is the biggest customization item that Rockstar should add, is smoked, or blacked-out, headlights and taillights. So many of my vehicles would look killer with them, and I feel they'd be perfect for everyone. Maybe we can even dabble farther and throw in the option for after market taillights?

 

5. Nos, nos, and more nos. It would be vital to make the perfect sleeper car. Can you imagine a Primo out running an Entity?

 

6. As I love car shows in GTA 5, it would be nice if we had the option to lift the hood. It would also be great if we were able to do some custom engine paint and modifications like intakes, heads, wires out/wire tuck, etc. That's more for the gear heads, but nothing would be better than lifting the hood of your Sabre Turbo to find that shiny big block sitting there waiting for you to whoop ass with it.

 

 

 

As I know this will only pertain to certain people, I can only dream Rockstar will see this and take some ideas into consideration. In the mean time, what do you guys think? Is there any certain thing you like, is there any other ideas for more customization that you have? Let me know, it would be fun to hear what you guys think!

lol. Just give me custom Vinyls, Nitros, and Hydraulycs. That would be good enough for me.

 

TBH, they should of just used what they did in MC:LA.

Yeah, that's kind of sh*tty to be honest. I'm assuming that people with a 360, greatly outnumber people with an Xbox One/PS4 to be honest.

I like the ideas you have, being a gearhead myself. I'd love to see them expand the tuning aswell. Stage 2 Turbo and such.

 

I also want to be able to separately paint parts like roll cage, hood and even small details like diffusers, canards and front lips.

Just let me remove that carbon bumper and the canards off the Bullet please. I also want to be able to put two strips along the top of the Dominator and Bullet.

we need all of customization options that where in gta san andreas, the ability to turn some cars into low riders with hydraulics, and be able to install nos onto any car.

it seems either nitro nor hydraulic has no working command button , therefore it was removed from the game ( but if they instead add it to vehicle weapon wheel , it does work i guess )

Now I'm not saying that R* should add everything from Forza but I think that we should at least be able to:

 

- Run our cars on a dynomometer and able to tune our cars horsepower and torque output, and if we want more top speed capabilities or to be faster off of the line and out of corners.

- Let us tune the Camber, Toe and Caster.

- Make Roll Cages actually to what they do in real life, If I put a Roll Cage on my Sultan I want it to take the corners like it would be able to IRL.

- Let us have the option to install a turbocharger or supercharger. To many cars are being ruined by that whiny sound that turbos make, muscle cars in partucular.

- Let us tune the gear ratios or if thats to technical at least let us tune the final drive ratio.

 

For customization:

 

- More widebody kit's.

- Neon Underglow (Not like this)

- Hydraulics.

- Chrome as an option for wheel paint.

- Decals and vinyls.

- Interior customization, Let us change the color of the seats, steering wheel, gauges and flooring. Maybe even let us have neons on the inside but not really bright.

Too overpopulated by now. If R* are going to read any suggestions it will probably be form individual threads, they might be looking for ideas but that doesn't mena they aren't lazy .
