Heists, what's the point now?

Heists aren't just about the money. Its about having fun and it will mix up the game a bit more.

For me, Heists will have to be absolutely game changing. As I see it now, the game itself can't nor will the community, survive if we all get a "bigger mission" to complete instead of something that could be planned, executed, as a team, etc.

 

 

Heists to me are like the Duke Nukem game that took forever to come out.

This was a very very nice f*cked up

R* should had released heists only AFTER patching any exploit/glitch just when the game came out. Then, after their release they should be giving all those DLCs they did

 

To keep people interested, they should had added more and more heists, maybe little ones (little store heists) and maybe big ones (bank robbery ones) also more contact missions so the game didnt lose its fun

 

But no...

f*cking pricks they did only stupid sh*t just to make you buy shark cards or whatever the f*ck. They wanted more and more money but they even were damn stupid at trying to f*ck people

Sure they added tons of expensive sh*t, but everyone always buy it thanks to glitches

Give the player mad pay

(You would assume it be alot of $, it isnt robbing a gas station)

And remember those Job Points? You're going to have to earn enough JP to play heists.

 

And how do you earn those JPs? By playing missions and other activities. But as it stands now...there is large contingent (using this forum as an example) that want to be free roam warriors and glitchers. So I doubt a lot would have the patience to spam heists everyday, if you can barely get them to play the missions.

 

So I think they will come and there will be a lot of bitching and moaning that follows because people will have to play the game to get to heists versus just f*cking around in free roam.

I'm trying to picture how heists are going to be different from any other mission, but I can't see it. It would be great to have a whole new look and feel to heists as opposed to the same old job formats. Hopefully this will happen with next gen. I've got my fingers crossed.

Speak for yourself brah, I'm still managing to break the bank as soon as I reach my comfort zone

 

 

Maybe Heists, if they payout extreme amounts, will utilize a "MMO Raid" type mechanic? Something along the lines of you can earn rewards from it once per day or per week, to prevent people repeating the mission constantly to reap frequent rewards

Heists would have been GREAT fun when I had good friends who still played GTAO. Maybe it'd bring them back, I donno, but they were real disappointed the heists never came.There is really no excuse for the delay, either come forth and say nope we can't do it/won't do it, or show SOMETHING to spark some interest.

At this point, a portion of Rockstar's reputation is on the line with gamers. After over a year of constant promises that were never delivered, if and or when heists are released, they will either be so good people can forgive begrudgingly they waited a year for this or they'll be so mediocre or bad that people won't believe they waited a year for them. Overall, Heists, one of the biggest advertised things about GTA: O, will broadly determine a portion of the success of GTA: O. Honestly, I just don't see heists living up to being worth a year's wait.

He is right though. You keep your jp and everytime you're in a draw in the select screen to vote for a job, and you got the higest jp collected, your vote will win.

You're "load of cash" won't transfer to next gen unless it's legit money. Any glitched or hacked money won't go over. Rockstar claims to have put in codes to determine where the money came from.
