Anyone miss the Police Cruiser in GTA Online?

I've noticed that the Los Santos Police Department Police Cruiser variant never responds online when I have a wanted level. It's seems that LSPD seems to be only using exclusively Police Interceptors as their primary police car. Would anyone prefer to have a 1:1 ratio of Police Cruisers and Police Interceptors spawning in GTA Online every time you have a wanted level?

YES. Crown Victorias > Police Interceptors, always. Now we just need a Stanier 2.0, a civilian cruiser. (The Stanier we have is an older model, different than the Taxi/Police variants.)

Yeah that'd be cool i like the look of them as well, they do spawn at some police stations if you want to drive one around. The police station by Rooftop Rumble is where i found one.

Because I had so much fun on a car with a paintjob and a siren that screams that I have a hard-on for police stuff in a game where I mostly commit crime is a way of living. However I do agree that there should be an spawning ratio just like IV.

The spawning ratio from GTA IV is exactly what I had in mind.

Aren't the modern LSPD interceptors based on newer Ford Taurus Interceptors used by the LAPD?

 

Not sure what it's in-game non-police variant is, or if there even is one. Certainly not the Stainer though,

Agreed, since the Police Cruisers are Crown Vics that are still the most popular police car in the L.A.P.D. and the rest of the United States as of now.

Certainly not. The CVPIs are still the LAPD's primary police vehicle and will continue to be until their stocks and parts are exhausted, which will be a while considering how big their fleet is and how well they maintain it.

The Online trailers/screenshots featured the Police Buffalo and the CVPI-based cruisers, but only the Taurus-based ones appeared in the final product. Very disappointing.

 

As you say, they have a huge amount of police vehicles at their disposal, but the CVPI cruiser, unmarked cruiser, police Buffalo, police bike, FIB Buffalo (only found in one spawn location for 1 hour per day) are all excluded from being properly utilised online.

 

All we can hope for is these vehicles to be included in the PS4/Xbox One/PC versions of GTA Online at the very least. Actually storing them in our garages is another question completely.

Go to Sandy Shores and get one of the all white sheriff cop cars. All the country police cars are cruisers. All the white/black are city interceptors.

I personally think the best way to own a cop car would be a Pegasus system, where you buy the motors just have them stored at the impound from SP. Probably the best way to do it if cops and crooks ever turns up. Don't want to be wasting garage space for something I may not actually use very often.

Why should it be a Pegasus system? Why not just let us store them in our garages?

 

Any vehicle in the game could be "wasting garage space" depending on who finds what vehicles valuable to themselves.

I just discovered that Saints Row 2 has everything what GTA fans want:

- storable and modifiable police cars

- awesome weapons like flamethrower, machete, revolver, chainsaw

- good character customzation (you can even play as tranny)

- a lot of enternable interiors

- awesome clothes (you can change color, style, logo and more)

- gloves!

- buyable mansions

- casino

- (unfortunately there's no heists but you can rob casino in one mission)

- better car customization (nos, hydraulics)
