Keylogger?

Hi GTAforums Members, I recently went on 4shared.com and clicked on a file that appeared to be a image file, it would not load and a notifacation from my anitvirus popped up and said that a threat was removed, when I clicked on the anti-virus it told me that the virus/malware was called ArdaMax and that it was a keylogger. Do I still have it? and how did I get a keylogger on a website when I didnt download anything from it.

Run a full scan to check it's gone. Could have been a false positive but without a full scan you won't really know. What anti-virus software are you using?

It was probably an exploit kit deployed using the advertising content on the page. That's the main infection vector for generic malware these days.
