Is it safe to play in an Open Online Session?

I heard bad things such as infection glitches.

People hacking away all the money from other players.

Players losing cars and weapons and more.

 

Is it finally safe to go into an Online Session with strangers?

My friends dont play GTA V / Online anymore, and i do not like to play alone.

 

I play on the Xbox 360 btw.

Encountered two god modders in a single session the other day. I shot a heavy sniper in one them at close range and no health lost. He even had a bounty on him. I ran for my life and he started walking towards me with a bat with no cover because he clearly had god mode on.

 

In another session a God modder walked towards me and my two other friends and just stood there while we penetrated bullets into his skull.

 

Too much God mode.

I encountered a god mode the other day. Shot him with my Heavy Sniper and nothing happened, about four or five times. He came towards me and for good measure I opened my combat MG and put 200 rounds into him. Nothing. So basically I put my weapon away and got on my knees and begged for mercy.. and what do you know? He and his mate left me be.

Ive played since october 2013 and still have my weapons and cash. There are some god moders and stuff but theyre not dangerous. Just switch session.

If dangerous is to be killed or griefed by a player once in a while then this game is definitely dangerous. I concider the game safe though.

Its too late, GTA Online has suffered the same fate as GTA 4. The game will die soon with all these modders ruining the game.

Only place I play. Met a few modders, but no many. Never lost money or weapons. Got shot in my garage a few times, many months ago, when that was 'cool'. That's about it.

I honestly only play in invite-only sessions lol. If any cool people ever wanna hang out and free roam tho or do mission im all about it. I h8 free roam, I always encounter little 14 year olds or wannabe gangsters.

i play almost exclusively free roam and i've had 2 minor infections (didn't destroy my cars, even went away when i switched sessions), and only one god mode person

 

i don't see how everyone is having such an awful time, its perfectly fine for me

I just played for my fist prolonged period today since the 1.17 update. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary today.

God modders were the worst for me about 3 months ago.
