steve dogg 51
my feedback shall be in two parts : constructive &official and also in my sandking loving Sanchez despising true self, they will however both be mixed up together *****feedback****** Well what a meet, great fun from the start, lovely starting spot was gutted i didn't get more photos. I was a little late to arrive due to the fact i was strategically planting a sandking on top of a cliff (just a little reminder as to whos the boss) it manged to watch over the events on the beach for a good 10 mins before it was spotted and dispatched by chainsor and a well aimed rocket. I must add that back at sandking headquarters, we had been watching the rise of this event closely and i had been give the "job no one wanted" and dispatched as an undercover agent to infiltrate the enemy meets and grab recon on the dirty little Sanchezs. sandking: and to you chainsor i now state having fired that first shot .......... lines have been drawn ......... events have been put in motion ........ there is no going back for you now ......... prepare for the back lash !!!! it was a great start, i loved the blast down the beach, and the first moderate challenge, the sanchez is fun and the first blast across the beach was just that, any terrain we missed can always be added to future meets. Me and crab then blasted across the hills to the windfarm, it appeared prudent planning for crab to have stuck his hat on with pamela fappersons now unused tit tape, as it did not shift an inch the jumps at the wind farm was a blast, i even fell for the double tap Y for the superman (i should know rockstar better than that). I liked the format of "have fun for a few minutes" gives players a chance to find a good jump or good terrain. But i think then it should of been controlled just for photo opportunities. Although in this case we did get a great group shot ! sandking: what a load of pish .......... they had to the audacity to start a meet on a beach. on the very same substance the sandking is named after ! smart move not to show up the feeble skills of the sanchez by trying to climb them cliffs, cliffs the sandking has conquered on many an occasion. we then did some more great bombing ........... before heading over to the jumps section. Loved this and i though the idea of knocking people out if they fell was good and fair. i think in future i would suggest one host at the landing and one at the start point to communicate and set order, one practice for everyone ! but have the riders at the landing spot to watch the jumps ! i know this was made difficult due to the "rockstar's steve and phoenix hate club" throwing in some connection issues. But again hats of to you I've not seen a single thing that has held peoples enthusiasm and attention for that long a period as that rock . sandking: 360, backflip ........ no problems for the sandking ! im gonna perform a 720 back flip whilst flick the V's out the window. And if i crash and burn I'm taking you Sanchez f***ers with me !! we headed up mount josiah. once pheonix was back may fav bit of the meet, it was slow and technical and i wished this bit had been a bit longer and the front group had slowed down so we all could of showed off and got some more pics. but this bit was great. some really tough bits followed on mount chilliad, but chairsor kept going despite losing his way at times, so all credit to him he did a great job, when hosting off road meets its difficult to find a specfic rock to climb that you have practiced, they all start looking similar and following a route with no markers, no roads is tough very tough and the rain did not help. We made our way round and up to the summit. And the majority of us made it to the top of the cable car station and then parachuted down to the gas station. very relaxing, very cool. we decided as a group to climb mount gordo, at this point some fantastic mayhem followed us vs the cops at the gas station. This was my que to sneak away and hide a sandking in surprise at the top of mount gordo. 10mins later sandking left in position i returned to the group my mission noticed. As we raced to the summit i had a big grin on my face as i new what awaited. We arrived at the summit ......... bollocks !! the sandking had vanished and all that awaited was phoenix and a smack in the face with a baseball bat ;( the lighthouse was good fun as always but time was ticking on and i left the group after a great great meet. Pictures: Crabs hat held firm, after lashing his head in celebrity "tit tape" bing bong: passengers are informed that the 20.35 to los santos central has been delayed due to cynisters on the track. why sir , i do believe it is some kind of futuristic comunicationeybobthinggy. there were some painful and difficult terrain to overcome, pebbles, shadows, light and ticks our hosts for the evening ! hesselgren was a new, i welcomed her/him with a friendly punch and then ran away screaming ! suits you sir ! sex toy or cactus ??? tick mounted it at high speed and declared it was the latter great venue ! here we can see a 360 with the sandking drone keeping an eye of proceedings Pam ?? Pam ??? could that be you ??????? ...... nah it was only darkness A)tick latest promo shoot for "camel cups", stop unwanted sanchez caused chaffing, reduces the need for future Vaseline use. B)my minds telling me noooooo !! but my bodyyyyy .... bodyyyys screaming Yesssss ! there watching !!!! there always watching !!! good to see everyone was safety conscious and remembered there skid lids ...... well nearly all, nice alternative this was the final straw ! its on now bitch ! chainsor found a rat in his leathers ! and prepares to drop it down phoenix's crack loved this bit nice and technical more please ! wrong camo choice ! cynister prepares to tackle "george" this is gonna hurt ticks "camel cups" worked that well, sometimes he swore it felt like the bike was not even there the rain did not help awaiting instruction front view of the hosts it started getting tough after this real tough it was a long way down darkness and psycho poor shot by me ! shame it was nicely set up this is how i like to enjoy my sanchez, from a distance waiting for a gust of wind to blow it off a cliff i leave you with this lady's and gentleman !! goodnight i thank you Edited October 25, 2014 by stevedogg51 livejoker and Ph03nixxxx
darkness412
Great meet Phoenix! I had never owned or even ridden a sanchez before today. I gave up hope on attending this meet because of my crazy work schedule (i guess that's why they call it showbiz) but when i got to the office today, i learned that the entire production schedule had changed and i really didn't need to be there at all. i hung around and did some busywork just so i could justify my day's pay and then as soon as i could, i got the hell out! just before leaving the office, i sent Phoenix a message telling her i would be home right around the start time of the meet. i asked her to invite me if there were any no-shows. thank jeebus, there were no-shows!! when i got into the lobby, the meet was just starting so i had to quickly purchase and upgrade my Sanchez 2. in my haste, i forgot to change my clothes...so, yes, i ended up being the underwear model on a dirtbike. luckily my 2nd character is hot like fire. God help us if Tick ever decides to bring his tranny out in her skivvies!! (will post pics here later) again, Phoenix...great meet! you tend to be self deprecating and there is NO reason for you to be that way. you are a great host. i'm sure you'll host 1000's of great meets in the future. can't wait for the next one. Giantsgiants
Great meet and like others have said, you are a good host. Sorry I had to leave early. I think something that would be helpful is to have rules regarding special crates if hosting a meet during an event weekend since special crates have been known to drop in invite only sessions with four or more people. If a crate drops, is it okay to stray from the planned route to go get it?
DeInEmA68
**Feedback** Great meet by Phoenix! I've been to one or two meets with her and she one cool chick! I'm not a huge off-road fanatic but i love doing it every now and then! And i love the fact that it was strictly Sanchez's! I myself love riding dirt bikes and this was amazing! Everyone in the lobby was amazing which makes any great! Most of us knew each other with a few new faces! Now Phoenix is a great host but every single host always has room for improvement so don't put yourself down! Live and learn! I think my favorite part was the little mini game where we had to do specific tricks! I conquered all of them! I even landed a few front flips during the recess time! I do have a suggestion tho. I think you should add in some more mini-games in future meets! As to the off-roading, the routes where very well planned out! some parts were pretty easy while others not so much. There were some spots where i spent at least 5-10 minutes tying to defeat the incline! I wouldn't stop until I got it! Another thing i liked was parachuting from the top of Mt. Chiliad! Other than it took me 20 minutes to get up as i fell off and couldn't reach my bike, so i had to run all the way down to call it in! After that it seemed every cop in LS showed up the the store! Had a few good laughs! After the meet up we just screw around for a good hour jumping everything form Besa's to Dashhound buses into the ocean! And then procceded to land a Milijet on top of Maze Bank! All in all i had a great time! This was very well thought out by Phoenix and Chainsoar! You guys are gonna be great hosts and i'm in for any more meets!! Didn't get many but here are a few pics! Meetup at there beach! Scaling the mountains! After i cut off reality! I believe i can fly! "You call these off-road tires?? Look at them!!" My new parking spot! Milijet+Maze Bank Once again great meet! I had a great time!! -De xRAx Cynister, livejoker and darkness412
Ph03nixxxx
Bonjour, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the 'holy sh*t, it's over' section of my very first hosted meet! Holy sh*t. It's over. Thank you, first of all, to everyone who took the time out of their day/night to come to this meet; I'm not gonna lie, there was a small part of me which hoped that people would make excuses and not show so that I wouldn't have to embarrass myself in front of anybody, but lo and behold y'all turned up and I had a really cool time. Seriously. Would've been sh*t on my own. Lots of one-way conversation. Limited photographs. No hilarious deaths. I am, as you all knew, a newbie to hosting. I've seen two hosts do their meets with apparent ease and talent and, naturally, that set the bar very high - I didn't even pretend to think that I could reach that bar, though, nor did I expect myself to. I knew this meet would be exactly like me: striving for perfection but inevitably drifting into disorganised chaos and a lot of laughter. That works for me. One of the biggest things about this meet that I have to mention is how much I hated the first half - not of the actual meet, just the route in general. Boring, steady, no real challenge and no obvious path. That was my bad. I tried to cover too much of the map at once and that was entirely unintentional, I just really love that beach and I really wanted to use it as my starting point. My bad. To be honest, up until the mini-challenges I really didn't give a sh*t about that route, it was just a way to get to that little nubbin... and that was the problem. If you don't care about a route, it's gonna suck. Noted for next time. The wind farm was pretty fun, though, totally awesome seeing you all just going for it! But then we got to the mini-challenges and that was fun. I loved how much you guys took to it and how much effort you put in, retries and various attempts showing me that it was an AWESOME idea - and not entirely mine! Chainsoar first discovered the spot and therefore inspired me to come up with the mini-challenges, so thank you to him for the totally cool place to try some of that stuff out. Then came the better half: Josiah, Cassidy Creek, Raton Canyon and Chiliad. My favourite stage of planning was deciding where to head down from Josiah and navigating the Canyon, and tonight it was a lot of fun tackling those! Then, of course, Chainsoar took over - he had mapped out a great route for us to take, halfway up Chiliad and then down to the beach; it was truly the best part of the meet that we'd planned and he needs all of the credit for it. We got a bit lost, admittedly, but he kept his cool and we found our way - this led to the awesome probably-shoulda-been-the-finale part: throwing our bikes off Chiliad and parachuting. Great stuff. I'd like to try it again sometime so that everyone who clipped their bikes and flew off to certain death might get another go, with me taking photos etc, but regardless it was such a fun way to end the night and in all honesty I probably should have cut it off there... but no, you guys were wonderfully patient and supportive and we did Gordo the way I'd planned. Bomb it, baby! I know the bits that sucked and the bits that were pretty cool, so I know what to work on for future meets - because, yes, I do want to do another one. More technical, less boring routes and not covering so much of the map. AND MORE LEAPING FROM sh*t. You were all a pleasure to have and I hope some of you, if not all, would consider coming to another. The next would be better planned and, hopefully, better executed. A few little notes: I had a bit of a moment where I made a point of stating that the point of me being a host was so that people would follow me, not race ahead: please don't take that to mean that I'm a bossy bitch. What it means is that I AM THE GODDAMNED HOST, SO STOP RACING AHEAD OF ME BEFORE I SNIPE YOU OFF OF THE GLORIOUS PIECE OF MACHINERY BETWEEN YOUR THIGHS!! ... Ahem. Seriously though, even if you're getting sick of waiting and want to just get moving it's a little disrespectful to both your hosts and the people in the session with you to go off ahead; I've got no issue if you want to go back down to the bottom of a mountain and start over etc, that's fine. At times I felt pressured by those bombing in front of me to keep pushing ahead even when I was trying to stop to let people catch up - that's not how I should feel. I should feel a relative grasp of control and I should feel comfortable hosting without constantly worrying that people are getting bored when I'm doing the decent thing of waiting for people who have been waylaid. NB: I know that the Sanchez is a nippy little thing and don't hold it against anyone who accidentally raced ahead and then returned to their place behind me/Chainsoar. That's understandable. During the mini-competition, I did ask that we go up there one at a time; some of you ignored that request and started going up there and doing your own thing. The more people that do that the more confusing it's gonna get; I was trying to keep tabs on who was up there and flying off of the hill so that I'd know who the winners were... as it happens, I have no freaking clue. I want to make it fun, but it's gotta have some level of order if I'm gonna keep it all tight and flowing. Still, I need to learn to be more assertive. I'll work on that. SANDKINGS - I actually didn't mind that at all. It was funny and didn't impact on the meet whatosever, just gave us all a good laugh! My meets will always be chilled meets, so that kind of naughtiness is amusing and appreciated rather than frowned upon, so long as it doesn't go too crazy! Guns & tear gas etc: NO THANKS, BRAH. Shootouts with cops at the end is all fun and whatnot, but don't throw tear gas/explosives/shoot whilst driving around. It's very distracting and I don't want people unnecessarily choking on their own tongue before we climb up a mountain due to noxious gases. Ramming into each other is a problem. Give people space, don't ride up their butts. If they want you to that, they'll ask. And don't intentionally crash into people. Obviously. Okay, so the 'niggly' bit is over. Onto the pictures! What a sexy goddamned line-up. BEST PHOTO OF THE NIGHT. Y'all look like flies being drawn into the pylon's sticky web of death... Darkness has been refining his 'Thriller' dance for weeks in prep for this meet. It paid off. *shakes fist* HESSELGRENNNNNNNN...!!!! Nice. Steve tries desperately to face away and hide his Sanchez-motivated erection from my prying camera lens. Mounting Chiliad. Cynister looking pretty darned badass. There's ALWAYS time for a beach party. Mounting Chiliad: The Sequel. Victorious and proud. Steve came at me with terrifying speed. I've been told he's seeing a therapist about it. Yet another badass pic of Cynister being... well, damn, badass!!! GORDO, MY FAVOURITE MOUNTAIN! We tried getting our bikes over to the lighthouse from Ursula's house. Didn't quite work out, but this is still a damned good picture. Haggard, sleepy and a little unsure as to how she found herself standing atop a large aircraft in the middle of the ocean, Phoenix is ready for bed. Which she should have gone to hours ago. It is now 5:45am. I am now leaving. Goodnight. THANKS AGAIN, GUYS!! PS: Will respond to you guys later today - really need to get to bed! bigd7775
I really wish I had gone to this instead of waiting for 3+ hours for a meet that didn't happen and still unsure if the host is ok or not (hopefully they or their family are alive and well). CrabCrust
Love this pictures. I missed a lot of it due to my baby deciding that at the age of 18 months he still doesn't want to sleep through the night and enjoys crying. What I did experience I had a lot of fun! I loved the mini challenges and Phoenix, next time you host, I will be there! It was relaxed, calm, fun. No weird silences. I went when you disappeared at 12am. I will post some of my pictures later. I have an epic one of someone doing the 'Superman' off their Sanchez! Thanks again all Stuff it, here are SOME of my pics... Who brought the Sandking? Here it is... Like a dog on heat... Ph03nixxxx
lol, that was me doing the nosie in a sandking by sandy shores airfield. Aw hell, my bad! I tend to blame Steve for anything Sandking related, but don't you worry, I'll make sure everyone knows it was aaaaall you. Love this pictures. I missed a lot of it due to my baby deciding that at the age of 18 months he still doesn't want to sleep through the night and enjoys crying. What I did experience I had a lot of fun! I have an epic one of someone doing the 'Superman' off their Sanchez! Thanks again all HELL yeah, so glad someone got a pic of that! I think Tick did too, though I was half-asleep when I viewed everyone's posts from last night so I'll definitely have to have another flick through. Glad you wanna be at the next one, I'd want you there! You looked snazzy as hell by the way... Feedback & Pictures Oct.24 Experience Feedback: This meet was ruined for me because of one thing and it wasn't from the meet itself. I'll keep it short because I'm f*cking pissed at how retarded I am. Meet going great, I haven't had supper so I send Phoenix a message saying I'll be back in 10 minutes, I step over the wire that's from my USB keyboard that's connected in my Xbox...aaaaand my left foot tags the wire, sending my 360 crashing to the floor. The 360 is okay, I check the GTA disc: big ring in it. I knew it wouldn't work. Sure enough, console can't read the damn thing. I typed in my keyboard "f*ck you you piece of sh*t" before slamming it on the ground and cracking it in half. Rage? Maybe. It shouldn't have been there! I'm so retarded! So yeah...my GTA presence will be dead for a good few days, minimum. Who knows when I'll buy a next copy. I spend too much time on this game and while I would hate to leave the GTA community for a bit I feel like I should take this opportunity to do other things...like get a life and get some money to get a new copy. The meet itself was great! Phoenix shares a same dilemma as Steve does: R* doesn't like them. I don't know why or how but Phoenix and Steve tend to lag out from meets sometimes - especially if they're the ones hosting a meet. That, as a host, is panic-inducing! It's something that can't really be fixed and doesn't reflect the meet itself. For the time I was there I had a blast! From the moment I arrived on that beach, I knew this would be a chill meet as I knew almost everyone in the lobby except for 2-3 faces that I sadly haven't really met due to unforeseen stupidity on my part. We rode around the coastline, did some sweet mountain jumping and even a few challenges all taking place in one spot which made the lobby feel very laidback. I liked that - I especially liked when Phoenix would go ahead and demonstrate each challenge and she would nail each example perfectly. Do a back flip? She does it first try. How about a 360? It's that easy. She made it all look too simple until the rest of the lot tried - many died. Pelvis' were crushed. The stock in male cups have risen. Phoenix lagged out, I brought a helicopter so others could jump over it to keep the guys entertained while she was away. We then drove around the area of Mount Josiah and doing a descent towards the creek (where the rapids were). That's all on my part as after that I did a dumb dumb. I snapped a few pics and I'm actually glad that my last meet for a few days was this one. This was Phoenix's first meet and I'm sure there's room for improvement but I feel Phoenix is a perfectionist like I am and is probably aware of the stuff she needs to fix. For the time I was in that lobby I couldn't pick anything wrong (except the connection issue but that happens to all of us). Please keep hosting these as your enthusiasm just makes everyone smile. Pictures: I was fitted and kitted with my tight yellow pants, mustard vest and my real gold Sanchez: The group chilling on the beach: We did a bit of riding as you can see from the setting sun: "Alright, think like the Sanchez, be the Sanchez..." - Scared Squirrel getting ready: Can you guess where we stopped next? Of course you can! Man in red shirt plummets to his death: BACK FLIP GALORE! Climbing with the Sanchez was way too easy: Our first great challenge was this guardrail: And that truck: The sun rises as we kept climbing: My bike broke at some point and I jumped with itz Reality - note the cat mask shadow: The next 20 pictures contains the back of his head: Seriously: Just kidding - here's one without a helmet in the way: Scared Squirrel getting cocky: Our first real challenge was that jump over there - we were told to simply land it: People were watching: The host making sure who made it and who didn't: Even though some were getting antsy, everyone paid attention to the challenge at hand: Cactus wearing his favorite pink boots to ride: Hey, it's back! We're actually in the air here: Smoking or not, the Sanchez was the ride of choice here: Looking good: Night fell and we were still having fun with that jump: Despite injuring himself, Scared Squirrel was still fingering me: Here you can see two ATV's copulating: I got a bit bored... So I did the following: Which is "I have no clue what I'm actually doing": We regrouped and headed out: This was fun and it was at this point that the Sanchez was starting to get a bit challenged by the terrain: Some gunned it: Others went for a harder but more rewarding approach by going slower: We regrouped before heading further: All ready to go down? Phoenix going first to show us how to do it - of course we had forgotten our pens to take notes: I told my teammate and professional head model, Reality, to go alone as I busy taking pictures: I should of gone with him because the moment I got off my bike it f*cking went down the mountain without me: Before putting a ring on it - it being my disc, the meet had rain coming in and would no doubt make everything harder: As ever, Tick, awesome commentary and fantastic photos/captions! *wipes away tear* I adore your sense of humour. So sorry about your game and your keyboard, though admittedly I may well have done the same thing in rage as you did... so no judgement there whatsoever. Thanks for the feedback, m'dear; you're right, I know where I can improve and intend on doing so for the next one! Not sure if I'll be hosting my own for the next one or if I'll be co-hosting a rather special one I have in the works with someone else... either way, lots of work on and equally lots to remember and store away to inspire me for future meets. Thanks for the helicopter-fun, I hate lagging out but unfortunately my wireless connection has never been the best... Real shame you missed the second (and better) half, but only because your presence in meets is always so entirely appreciated and enjoyable. Glad my enthusiasm serves others as well as myself, though sometimes I have to chill my sh*t and focus rather than ramble on like an absolute lunatic. Great meet Phoenix! I had never owned or even ridden a sanchez before today. Hey, thanks buddy! Shame about some of the no-shows, but not so awful 'cos it meant you could get in! Yeah, I do have a habit of being a bit of a bitch to myself but I'm workin' on it. Thanks for turning up and officially being the hottest avatar there - eye-candy is always a necessity! No worries m'dear, my Xbox continually decided I had to leave early too so definitely not holding it against you! As for special crates, it didn't bother me that people wanted to go off and get them; it's their choice if they want to leave the group and sometimes it's the only way you can get one considering the craziness that ensues in public lobbies when one appears. As long as they accept it's on them to get back to the group and that they may miss some stuff it's all good with me. Thanks for the positive feedback - you were an awesome addition and I really hope to see you at another in future! **Feedback** Great meet by Phoenix! Feedback is hugely appreciated, and I couldn't agree more that more little comps are needed, especially to break it up a bit. I too enjoyed the single one included last night, especially as everyone was so determined to kick its ass. Planning to make the next one a little more challenging, so looking forward to that! Too bad my tranny partner is clumsy and broke his disc, we miiissseeddd youuuu. Also i'm glad my superman death could entertain everyone. I'll definiately be looking out for more meets like this in the future. Gonna post some snapmatic pics soon, rockstar social club is being lame for me right now. I think once you give the Sanchez a chance to shine off-road you tend to realise how freakin' awesome it is very, very quickly. Its lack of speed & prettiness tends to put people off but honestly, I haven't found a single vehicle in-game that I love off-roading on/in as much as the Sanchez. It's a class-act, for sure. Can climb like nothing else! Look forward to seeing your pics; thanks so much for coming along, glad you could get in! You were a great addition! xRAx Cynister
For the record, thanks you cactus for catching the millet as it passed beautifully over that tree.... With no contact.... And flew effortlessly into the sunset... Or was that fire from impact? Either way awesome timing. And thanks for the iron clad panty wearing faith givers in the post meet maze bank attempt. Steve and Phoenix, well we all know that when the sh*t hits the fan I willload the Sanchez in the back of the Bohdi and tow that shamed sanding to the junkyard where it belongs. ___________________________________________________________________________ ^^^^^^^^^ Actual line drawn BOOM THAT JUST HAPPENED Ph03nixxxx

yello cactus
Evening. Some in depth reviews peeps; good readingA few bits and bobs; in no particular order. This was my first proper off roading on the Sanchez and I loved it. It really can climb! I really enjoyed the technical stuff, climbing almost vertical rock faces! However I would have liked more technical stuff. Flipping over, doing 360s and general bombing around the Wind farm was fab; really enjoyed it. Plus the big hill with 360 and spinning challenges was a great inclusion. I agree that the lead should lead and should not be overtaken (unless the other rider is sliding down a mountain and pass the leader by default!)The organiser/leader has put in a hell of a lot of groundwork to plan routes and events etc so their lead should be respected. Guns, Stickies, tear gas etc should only be used if the organiser has it planned into the meet. Parachuting from the bike = brilliant fun (however, I thought I'd try out my reserve parachute and I couldn't open it!) In summary. This was my second off-road meet and I loved it. I really appreciate everyone who puts meets together. It takes time and a good deal of planning so hats off to everyone who has ever done one and anyone who is planning to do one. Ph03nix & Chainsoar- Thank you very much. It was a great night and I'm really looking forward to your next Sanchez off-road meet!!! livejoker

Enthusiasm is great, but read the thread and know what it's about. Meet was last night. A new one will hopefully be coming, but info is not up yet. Best place to look is the first post most hosts usually post the next meet info there.

Ph03nixxxx
*heart explodes with love for everyone in the thread* (minus perhaps the guy whose first offering was three Zentorno's - I'd rather see ten Sandkings in one of my meets than even the shadow of a Zentorno.) That said, my young apprentice, come back when you've had a look through the pics and seen what sort of things we do (and perhaps when you've bought another Sanchez) and then you'd be welcome to join us at the next one. I give no damns here about any vehicle other than the Sanchez and offering those super cars etc as a reference is like shoving your ass in my face and telling me it's a peach when in actual fact I asked for a goddamned pear anyway... not to mention I don't want your goddamned ass in my face. Did that make any sense? No. No, it did not. I'm very tired. livejoker
@Phoenix: You have every right to tell players to get back in line. If you were hosting a Forza car meet and someone went in front of you that would be a warning - after that they're getting kicked (some even blacklisting for passing!). The Sanchez is a quick little thing but to go ahead the host just to feel the rush of speed is stupid as they have no idea where to go since the host is behind them. I think I was the only one that said that you should tell players to go one at a time by calling their gamertags out so you can keep tabs when taking pics. I remember you agreeing but everyone was so concentrated on jumping they didn't really register that part. I'm a bit bummed you didn't assert yourself more but this was your first meet. Also, you know exactly what to fix and I f*cking love that. That's great host material when you know how to fix an issue. You amaze me, seriously. While I love the duo you form with chain, I'm sure you'll be hosting meets yourself soon (unless duo host becomes a thing - who knows!).I'm gonna sound like a real dick for the next paragraphs so I'll put in in spoiler. When we were jumping the rock (Dwayne Johnson?), you lagged out and one player suggested that we get Sandkings so when you come back we'd all be in Sandkings. No response from others. A minute later I suggest the same thing but we hide the Sanchez's in a bush as Sandkings were spawning. I'm not entirely sure who it was who politely said that it was your first meet and we shouldn't do that. Extremely polite and I understand where he's coming from and I respect that at 100%...but on the other hand if we would of done this little gag, which is a running joke here in our circle, it would of been a great conversation point for the meet and for the forum. I know it sounds like a bad idea to go off the rails of the host's plans but trust me; hosts remember the most what their lobby does that isn't part of the plan. What do you remember the most, Phoenix; people climbing rocks or jumping a dump towards the lighthouse? Biased example for a question, yes, but from the pics that's the thing that caught my eye the most (it was also at the end of the meet so it's differently applied than the Sandking thing). But then again it might just be me who would of loved to see how you'd react if we were to all be in Sandkings. If I was host and came back to see everyone wearing a racoon mask, for example, I would of taken pics and it would of been a great laugh. You said it yourself that the Sandking joke was funny but it shouldn't get out of control so if the "everyone in Sandking" joke was done the lobby would need to just be in Sandkings and not ram people to make it enjoyable. Anyway - just want to say that you (saying this to everyone who was in the lobby) should live in the moment. Meets require a connect point where everyone just clicks and while it was mostly usuals here that knew one another I feel an inside-joke would of made this meet talked about for days to come. I wasn't there for the full meet so my opinion of the meet is much more limited but I know how these go - meet, random crap at the end, upload pics while others start leaving slowly. Again, not saying anything bad to anyone and I hold no grudge, I'm just saying it was a missed opportunity (on the lobby's part) that would of predicted the end of the meet (and Steve's attempt at a Sandking on top of a mountain). Just live in the moment is my tip for anyone who hosts or wants to host. Enjoy the game and don't stick to the text too much - staying on track is needed, though....and now I'll shut up because this is getting too confusing and typing a book isn't in my interest. Some pics aren't loading for me - you guys should consider putting pictures in a spoiler tag next time. Awesome pics, I always love reading responses and looking at the pics.
