Do you always buy the dlc vehicles when they are released?

DLC vehicles. When and if you buy them?

138 members have voted

  1. 1. When dlc vehicles are realeased I like to...

    • Get me some shark cards, steam right in and buy everything regardless of price, performance, style and upgrades.(or lack of)
    • Tune into my favourite Youtuber to get their opinion on each vehicle before buying the vehicle(s) they say are the fastest, coolest, best in class or whatever.
    • Load up story mode and give each vehicle a thorough test before agonizing over which of my current rides will be sacrificed to make room for anything that makes the grade.
    • Tune into my favourite Youtuber to learn the latest SP 2 MP glitch, coz f*ck paying for sh*t, right.
    • Hop into my lazer/buzzard/tank and obliterate everyone who did any of the above.

When the valentines day DLC dropped I was too skint to buy a roosevelt. Since then, when I have the time I grind missions to make sure that my bank is sitting over five million when DLCs arrive in case there is a vehicle(s) that I want to buy. Last update the vehicles were cool(imo) but I only bought a Hakouchou as it out-performs (imo)the bati 801. Since it was relatively cheap and the rest of my savings were burning a hole in my pocket I also got a swift from last update in the hope that flying an un-armed helo will discourage the attacks that flying a buzzard seem attract, usually from people who (Im guessing) assume that if your flying an armed chopper you are issuing a challenge or posing a threat. ANYWAY My point is that I dont always buy DLC vehicles just for the sake of it and Im interested in finding out what other peoples thoughts on the subject are. Thanx

Nope and i kind of find it funny those who do and then complain about how horrible they are...

I always test drive them in Story Mode before i buy it online same with the weapons and other things to make sure it's even worth the money but some people think they have to buy everything as soon as it comes out then they complain about not having any money a few days later.

You need a "None Of The Above" option

I mean I load up single player first to see if there any good and then I buy them online.

Singleplayer first, check them out and trick them out if possible though some were a instant buy like the innovation.

i test them all in SP first before ever thinking of buying.

the last dlc vehicles i bought because of actually being nice to drive were the dubsta 6 and the zentorno.

got the independece vehicles because of being limited, apart from that i havent bought any cars.

I buy them if i like them. Last one i bought was the coquette classic roadster. The vehicles in the LTS DLC didn't interest me at all.

I try them all in SP, see if I like the looks and performance plus which mods are available. Then I ask myself the question 'if this car was in vanilla V, would I have bought it?'. I like to avoid buying cars simply because they are new. Luckily I still have two free garage spaces for vehicles as I have only bought cars I like and will use so haven't yet filled up both my garages despite being level 112.

My garages are full with cars I want and use regularly. I havn't bought anything expensive the last 2 updates.

you know, actualy i first look the vehicles trough in story mode, though i dont look much at performance to much yet since only way to realy test them is doing races

also , i beleve their is a diference between story mode and online when talking about mechanics, so the cars are gonna act diferend online

further then that, if i dont realy like the looks of something enough to make it worth replacing i just wait for broughy to test them on cutting coroners

that being said, i bought the furore gt because i like the maserati looks and the ocelot f620, though not a realy bad car....well, its realy tail happy thus i got rid of it after a couple of months :)

option 3 i suppose but that usually ends up with me completely disregarding the vehicle afterwards (because they're usually shіte) (like liverpool)

I still have about 25 empty car spaces so if I want to buy them they're just added to my list of cars to buy. I test them first in SP. I do buy all the clothes and masks though, I like having everything available from the interaction menu and the wardrobe in my apartment. I buy all the weapons too because they don't have to replace anything.

Where is the option for just buying all the vehicles without having to buy shark cards first?? You left out one of the most obvious options.

I test the car in single player first to see how good or bad it is. I also try visual upgrades to see if I like it design wise. If I'm not sold on it I won't buy.

If i like the look of it i buy it. I literally give an electron sized f**k about performance. Hell i drive a pure gold, fully upgraded faggio around sometimes for the sh*ts and giggles.
Load up single player, drive it around, get a feel, fully examine it, then decide. After all you're not looking at its performance, you're looking at its style all time time. Why not drive something good looking?

The car has to look REALLY good for me to completely ignore performance. The only car to make me do that was the Bullet.

I go to SP because.... I'm poor in GTAO. Not only that, but I let the appreciation threads run their course, and then I start to think about how the DLC cars stack up against the regular cars.

It took me about a two weeks to buy the pants at first and I pretty much sold it a week after! Driving seems sh*tter online than it does to SP.

I remember SP2MPing the business update vehicles on Xbox for 100% free, and storage-glitch free. Good memories.

Where is the option for:

[ x ] Look at the dlc cars on the forum's "What has change in GTAO v X.XX?" decide if you like the look and price point and make a decision.

If it's a vehicle I've been excited about, then hell yes.

I still remember getting pumped about the Alpha when Rockstar first announced the Business Update.

Test in SP. Car doesn't have to be fastest in its class, but it has to bring something to the table.

I bought the Furore GT and the Hakuchou. Sold Bati. Innovation is cool but offers little over my classic black Sovereign.

If it's a limited-time vehicle, I will probably buy it because I have room.
