What is rockstars definition of griefing?

You can report people for griefing, but what does it actually mean? Is it any time a player is killing people and blowing up their vehicles for no reason? Do they have to be targeting a single person?

Apparently people on GTAF think that "griefing" is literally any type of unprovoked attack. As mindless as it sounds in a PvP game, some seem to think that killing other players is prohibited.

Stupid, I know. but i digress... Griefing as a term i guess would be defined as continuous attacks in a harassing way against a player who is minding their own business: such as spawnkilling 20+ times or stalking a player with some type of over powered weapon or vehicle (mini gun/jet/tank), following someone lobby after lobby, ultimately for no reason, other than to continuously kill them over and over and destroy their cars.

When you follow someone from session to session to harass/kill them

I think their definition would be sending R* employees e-mails that look like they are from their bosses saying:

"

Everyone is getting $500k Raises!

Once heists are out. Oh, and it's GTA $.

"

 

But a bit more to what you want...

I'd guess something along the lines of spawnkilling, or about as close to it as you can. If the other guy can't even try to fight back (and I don't mean some complicated stuff) and you're able to keep killing him in the same area, that would probably count.
