Get rid of the Heavy Pistol's Red Dot Sight.

Am I the only person bothered by it? I know that it's a very small issue, but I've despised the red dot sight on that gun ever since it came out. It doesn't even have a purpose. It's just sitting there for useless cosmetic reasons, and it makes the pistol look terrible. I wish Rockstar would remove it. Anybody else agree?

I agree. It looks stupid and the real life counterpart, Desert Eagle, does not in fact have a red dot sight integrated.

It's based on a Kimber Desert Warrior, which infact comes with a picatinny rail for sights.

I could have sworn it was a 1911.....what I dont get is the capacity of the magazine...id imagine they only gave it so many rounds as a reason for people to use this pistol over the Desert Eagle

It is based on a 1911, which BTW the Kimber Desert Warrior is one. The red dot looks stupid.

I've never really seen the point of the Heavy Pistol until just last night when I used it in a Survival. It was pretty epic. I used it up until about the 7th wave, at which point the the enemy armour seemed to increase and I was putting a teammate at risk by not covering him quickly enough.

 

I'll be using it more often now, methinks.
