What causes the level reset do you know?. Its an interesting problem because it happens to so many people since 1.17. They seem to fix it straight away if you complain on the support website.

I have no idea, i was just playing some missions and when i got back to freemode I suddenly got the big yellow alert stating "connection lost due to an unknown error". I was thrown back to SP and when I entered online again I noticed my rank was reset.

I told R* in the ticket I submitted that I had lost my rank after this message and that this message is frequent since patch 1.17.

Their first reply was about how connection issues could be resolved by reconfiguring my modem and the fact that my rank was reset was completely ignored...

I then told them that the message occured to lots of other people since the update and that my reason for contacting them was the loss of my rank. Their reply asked me to specifie what exactly was lost...

Now they ask me on wich characterslot whilst my account only has 1 character...

Hope this gets resolved fast.

Before selling ps3 i was rank 69. I have not played gta v for like 8 months because i had to sell ps3 to get enough money for ps4 and noe i have to star from rank 1 because i made a new osn account because i did not like my first psn (name). All those high ranks i am gonna get my ass kicked lol

been busy playing destiny and cod aw so only 175 gta is boring now next gen will be fun tho
