You should go back and read the top of the first post. As of 1.17 there is a store any car glitch (albeit it doesn't work all the time) as well as requesting one in a duping thread. Some custom mods can be applied using charles or with the help of a person with a mod meneu.

Okay I'm going to try to break this down for you...

This is the duping method pulled directly from the first page of the ps3 duping thread: (heads up, magician=person with mod menu)

 

 

 

New Duping Method.

 

Make sure garage is filled with cars, and you don't have a car outside. As well make sure you don't have an insurance claim for a car.

0: While waiting for an invite to get your requested car, put all cars in garage then go steal a car and drive around with that til you get the invite. Might solve the problem of losing a car in your garage.(think biggkatt, gave that tip)

1: Magician will bring you the car you want, will park it on the blue marker at your garage

2: He will leave door open,

3: You are to walk backwards gun pointed out when you go up against the car door press triangle

4; Car will then glitch into garage.

5: Drive car in and out of garage to make sure it sticks.

 

This is the current method of storing cars in the PS3 duping thread and it has also been confirmed to work on Xbox as well. This method does not require recovery and is as simple as the instructions above state.

 

It's also worth saying that this thread's existence will not stop people from finding new glitches within the game. As R* continues to add new things more bugs will arise. The first thing that comes to my mind is the 'hooker glitch' that was made possible by the Garage Management Feature that was added in 1.14.

 

 

 

Charles method does not remove body parts from vehicles that i recall.

I never said Charles could remove body parts... This thread is divided into three sections but I'll only list the first two as these seem to be the ones you're confused about:

"Part I: vehicles with unobtainable bodystyles" in that section there are vehicles that have unobtainable bodystyles that will add or remove parts. There is no mention of Charles anywhere in that section.

 

"Part II: Vehicles with unobtainable customization options" in this section there is a list a vehicles that you can add small things to such as wheels or window tint that would otherwise be unavailable if you were to just drive them into LSC. This is where I mention the use of Charles;there is no mention of part removal in this section...

Charles can do quite a bit to the 'rare' vehicles or ones you can't make changes to in LSC, but it can't do body style changes nor can it do the REAR wheels of motorcycles, only the FRONT wheels. Just FYI

 

someone with a modded console can change your body style and the rear bike wheels for you OR you can duplicate it from someone (at least until the next update anyway)

NOT TRUE, you 100% can make some of these in lsc online. Im on ps3 and personally made a bedless rat-loader a few days ago and grabbed a buffalo off the streets to see if the body kit can still be removed.....great success!

 

check the exploit/glitch thread for more info, seems ps4/xb1 can remove parts on more cars...like the panto grrrr why did i sell it.....but im not sure of the complete list of vehicles that can striped down on which consoles

Its not even worth arguing about anymore. Like the bodystyle database thread the recent comments turned the whole thing into a sh*tstorm and now that my copy of the save editor doesn't work I can personally test cars anymore. The people who this thread was meant for (people who make requests in the ps3 duping thread) have a direct link to it, have seen what they needed to see, and made their requests. Everyone else can go on about the death of SP>MP, account recovery, and how all of that makes this thread have no purpose.

As far as I know there is no way to remove the spoiler.

This is a good guide. Be sure to include the Stratum with all options. BS 255 and 254 I believe, sunroof and moonroof variants.

I think you've gotten all other 'unique' unobtainable vehicles.

Thanks. The Stratum will come with the next set off vehicles when I get around to doing them. I think I also need to work on the Akuma and a couple other motorcycles too.

If you're asking about twin turbo badge on Stratum then I believe there is a Strumtum that spawns on the street with only a spoiler and twin turbo badge. However that's not the point of this thread.

Oh, according to social club, there seems to be surprisingly many of these...

 

Blista, Prairie, Oracle, Buccaneer, Sabre Turbo...

 

I guess I should make a list someday, since R* Social Club is full of lies of course...

 

I'm not interested in any "super rare unique vehicles" that need some SP/MP or other glitches etc, I just like to find cars from the free-roam. But I'm not judging you, if you like what your doing. Keep on. Sorry about intervening.

Yea, it's just that nowadays almost all the cars can be purchased online, so the ones that are unpurchasable can be considered to be rare. At least they are rare for me.

Schafter and Schwartzer are available for purchase online. Felon GT as well, if I remember correctly.

 

What is a difference between a gang car and a regular one? The paint is unique? So there are 4 unique paints for those 5 different cars that can be found on gang areas? And at least Peyote has the special dark windows on some of the topless versions? Or is there a topless Peyote? hmm...

 

It's not an easy job to get all those correct. Mainly I'm interested in unique cars, not so much unique variations. The Mariachi Tornado being an exception.

 

What about the Surfer? If you buy it, does it come as a random between the variations (clean, rusty, w/ surfboard)?

I tried storing the Blista compact (the new one from GTA IV), couldn't store it in my garage, probably because it's a DLC car.

 

Also for some reason I can't store the Hexer, despite the fact it's $15,000 (most cars that are over 50,000 you can't store), why is this?

 

There's also a Lifeguard blazer which stores at the beach, I think it's storable (I'm not sure now, I stored it ages ago), but you can't take it to LS customs.
