question about the shooting range

Will it help with my shooting skills? Or is it a waste of time? I was playing last night and it sent me back to the lobby after I finish the first round. So I'm guessing I did it wrong or its not like single player

I think it helps raise the shooting stat

Apparently you have to play against another player for the skill level to raise in the shooting range. Good advice is to just keep playing, there is so much shooting involved with most game modes that you will be max level in shooting eventually anyway. Try playing survivals and getting as many headshots as you can. Also you can set the amount of challenges to "Unlimited" in the shooting range and you can just quit out when you want.

"Shooting : Your skill in handling firearms. Dampens recoil, reduces reload time, hightens accuracy, and increases ammo capacity. Increase this skill by landing hits on enemies, scoring headshots, and successfully completing Shooting Range challenges. You can raise your shooting skill with the gun challenges. It will raise at 3% for gold medals, 2% for silver medals and 1% for bronze medals. Note that Online characters reload at maximum speed regardless of their shooting skill."

It may raise your shooting skill but only free aim will raise physical skill, which is far greater than a game skill.
