Best ideas for making money?

Pretty simple question: What are some of the best ways to make money in GTA online?

I keep reading about basic mission grinding and such, but I was curious if any missions are better than others, if there's any easier way such as selling cars, or if there's something I haven't thought of. I'm not asking for illegitimate money gains or anything, I'm just looking for ideas. After a while I get tired of not having money. lol. I guess a lot of people feel that way. Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

Use the sharks cards that Rockstar offers, this is the best idea ever invented! You will not be disappointed, trust me!

Grinding really. Selling cars is next to useless unless you're a low level. Simmy's car missions make you 16k if you do them perfect fully, but you've got to worry about other players going at you, unless you're in a private session. Idk the spawn rates for crates/simmy missions and if they respawn as much in private sessions.

But I'd say either grind missions or buy a cash card!

Play missions with full lobbies. Don't rush through missions.

When in free roam, stay in a buzzard so you can hit Lester targets, bounties, and armored trucks easily. Swap the buzzard with a cargobob to scoop up hpvs and gang tornados quickly. And if nothing random is popping up do speed runs on store robberies.

What do you mean? Just do job after job? I've done that. I'm just fairly new to GTA Online so I don't know a whole lot. I'm trying to catch up on things.

I meant that for Sum-gUy's post.

For high level people

1. Start in invite only

2. I usually start with mixed up with coke

3. Back to freeroam

4. Show me the monet(back to freeroam)

5. Defender(back to freeroam)

6. Extradition(back to free roam)

7. Trash talk(back to freeroam)

8. Titan of a job

9. Effin lasers or chop chop

Hope you get the idea, pick the high paying missions which start at the same location as the end of the previous missions, it's the way i make money

Do any mission you want (depends on your level, I do Rooftop Rumble), then when all threats are gone (enemies and stuff), wait for like 5-15 min and then drive to your destination. Your pay will increase by 2x or so.

Somebody once mentioned a timer on missions and that pay is adjusted as to how long it takes for you to finish. Anyone know the details on that?

For me, the best job to do is repeatedly hosting Titan of a Job, but I think you have to be above a certain level to do it (I'm level 46).

Other than that, the easiest missions are any ones that require you to steal/repossess vehicles, or ones where you have to retrieve packages or drugs. Missions where you have to blow up vehicles are fairly easy too, but buying grenades or sticky bombs can get expensive.

Son you have no idea what we had to go through during the old days lol. We used to get paid maybe $1120 for missions that payout around 5 - 7k these days. Grind, it's what you've got to do unless you want to spend money on the game.

Do you have a sniper rifle? There's a mission you can grind that paid decently back in the day, with nerfed payouts it must be great now. Go to the social club and find "Coverted" in the playlist section.

Spending more than a certain amount of time on a mission gives maximum profit. Some will say 15 min some say 20.

*edit: the profit caps at that point as well.

Do missions with friends or crew members, most you can do yourself if you don't know anyone yet. Get a second garage when you can afford it, and stock it with Ballers/Gang peyotes, sell one when you log in, and one when you log off, that's 25k for doing nothing.

The second most expensive item in this game is ammunition (cars mods are #1) when you get to level 15, do survivals to stock up on ammo, when you get to 18, do gang attacks for ammo, I never buy ammo, except for pistol, once a week.

Stay away from free roam battles until you get more financially stable, it's very expensive to spray ammo around, not to mention hospital bills, and insurance if you blow someone's car up.

If your on PS3, I'll do some missions and stuff with you, and let you in on some other little tricks to help you along.

Am I the only one who's noticed these threads much more than usual?

Especially coming from newer players.

When I was new, I was as broke as hell, it takes awhile to get the ball rolling if you don't glitch(not that I'm against glitching, just not my style)

Yeah, that was the reason why I turned to LSC glitches... I really, really, really hate having to spend 70 years just to get like 1k dollars.

Heres an example of ways to make that $$$$:

Play rooftop rumble 15min:$22,500x5=112,750 per one hour

Sell gang Peyote/manana:12,500x2=$25,000 per hour

In solo session:Rob armoured trucks=2-6=$5-25k per hour

Hunting bounties in sessions:1-5 per hour 2k-20k per hour

So all of that is totaled to about close to 200k every hour or two

Or you can glitch the money as most say but don't ask me on glitches cause i don't get down like that lol.

Are you f*cking serious? Anyone who wanted money should have done the LSC glitches before they were patched. Either way NEVER buy shark cards they are a con. I would rather do missions even if they pay crap money.

I did this and sold my game them 4 or 5 months later I came back and I had 500k in the bank and a empty garage.

Good God

Just play the missions, or jobs

Take your time and have fun

Don't leave the vote screen.

This. If people would just stop leaving to do the same job over and over you could just chain different jobs and make even more money with the new pay outs.

Don't leave the vote screen.

Simple as this. Keep voting for new missions and the money will add up. I usually get like 2-300k after doing missions with friends for a few hours.

Just so nobody gets the wrong idea, I do enjoy the game, I like playing missions, I do random stuff all the time while playing, I actually enjoy cooperative stuff more than just randomly killing anything that moves, and I don't mind working and putting in the time. I was merely asking for advice from more seasoned veterans of the game. I just bought a PS3 a few months back and haven't had too much time to really invest in the game yet and I didn't know if there were some tricks to bank a bit more cash than just random job grinding. I know some jobs pay more and some things during jobs pay more, so I was trying to find that out. Also, I do appreciate everyone's input. Thanks goes to those who took the topic at least a little seriously. :cookie:

Do the flight school with your second character, bank the cash, delete character and repeat.
