Sure it's slow as hell, a huge target and completely useless, but so is the Dump.

 

Anyone else want it just the laugh of having it?

I thought the blimp would be a vehicle for online, no idea why I thought it would be single player only. I've used it twice - it's f*cking useless. It would be more useful for online so you and your buddies could have a base in the sky way above the clouds, place bounties on one another and see the blips on the map scramble for a jet.

Would love the Blimp, though it would be even better with rappel ropes able to let you go down from the highest elevation to the ground. Just think, you and a bunch of friends hovering over the military base, then everyone rappels down at once... Even better for missions... How many people does the Blimp fit anyway? Should be at least 6. And let them use all-but-rocket weapons while a passenger...

.... or we could just make a ram-deathmatch with several of these between some skyscrapers.. do they explode if you hit another aircraft? :p

I saw one in online once, no idea how it got there though. I was just minding my own business while this guy came out of the sky with it and crashlanded it on an intersection

when you could bring any vehicle online, i would bring this blimp or the 747s online, and having done both i like the jet more but the blimp is pretty fun, only 1 person can occupy it, but its still kinda fun, slow as all hell, huge ass target, but still kinda fun to float around in

no i don't want the blimp it's slow plus it would make a big target for buzzard and jet pilots.

the dump is fun because you can crush cars with it.

Yes, used it once in Sp and never again.

 

Could be lots of fun for online, and in an inv only session you wouldnt have to worry about getting shot down.

No idea why my original post didn't post. I'll try remember it..

 

Since he clearly sold his unit of the game in February due to the fact he disliked it I am be-founded as to why he would be lurking the forums. There would be better things he would be doing in his time then wasting it here, right? I mean it's more then a reasonable conclusion to be baffled by his presence due to the fact the game doesn't appeal to him.

i sp2mp my blimp back in the day, it was nothing but a huge slow target.

 

couple players tried to land helis on top and then someone blew the thing with a rpg from the top of maze bank.

Obviously the game appealed to them. They bought it. And maybe you haven't noticed the threads concerning changes to the game?

He sold it due to a crappy grey suit made game. They offered a take on the frivolity of adding things to the environment. Thinks it's not up to snuff. Perhaps if rockstar had fixed issues with the game rather than adding meaningless items they would have stayed.
