Question for the rare item seekers...

Technically it's human nature to stand out to get attention.

 

People just do it in different ways. It varies from collecting rare items in a videogame to show off to other players, to starting a thread on GTAF or killing people on site. Everyone wants to be noticed.

 

 

I'd say it's more they want to be included than noticed. People want to feel like they're a part of things.

I think its mostly like a what the f--k else am I doing type of thing.

 

If i know theres a limited time crate drop I like to get my gear first then play defense against other players. It creates a certain sense of pride and sportsman ship. I like knowing that I have something that not everyone can obtain. Especially with the nextgen version dropping soon and the possibility of an influence of new players / new character coming into the game. Having more and being better is what this game is at its core.

 

I also have a garage full of rare / valuable lsc sellable cars. I like to find them, sell them, organize them, etc.

 

If im not doing these things, I guess I'll just go around each session trolling people who appear weak and battling players who appear worthy -- just a nice activity to break things up

I only go for "rare" items because when new players play the game they'll wonder how I got it and they'll search most of the GTA life for it...Makes me wish I bought the Christmas mask!

Friends list doesn't mean much. That's like a small percent of the entire population of GTA Online. I'm not saying that I've met more than 50% or 100% of the GTA Online population though. Have fun on your cruise mate.
