But IMO, he can either spend the rest of his life in prision or get death penalty, I really don't care. Besides, saying that "he woul do it again" is not the way to go if you want to get out of this. Lol yeah but I would assume in a typical story like this that the mother was overbearing in raising him, took away his PS4, put him down as a kid growing up etc. that led him to one day turn on him and kill her so brutally. I don't believe he did this just to do it theres always a reason. This reminds me of Ed Kemper who killed his mother after years of verbal abuse by her. I thought this had similar undertones to it. I meant generally for those who commit murder and then they are deemed psychologically unstable get "rehabilitated" and released to the public. Why would you do that? By doing that you also disrespect the victim. Like that guy who cut off a guys head and ate it on a greyhound is out and about in public. On the other hand, one might simply not want to have a conscious/participating partner. Sex with a sleeping partner is definitely a fetish that's out there. And then there are people who prefer "sex" with dolls not merely out of lack of other options. There is a pattern here, surely. I can see a particularly introverted person having sexual attraction for human body but not always having desire for actual interaction during sex. It's not uncommon for men to opt for a wank rather than bothering with sex. Take that principle to the point of mild pathology, and it's not hard to imagine a person fantasizing about sex with body lacking consciousness. And yes, that body being an actual inanimate corpse does seem rather weird, but mostly because of stigma attached to it. I'd feel extremely weird just touching a corpse, and yet, there are people who have to handle corpses professionally, and don't think anything of it. So I can see a fairly well adjusted, if somewhat introverted person, being entirely willing to have sex with a corpse, and even fantasizing about it. In that sense, necrophilia, by itself, does not seem to require any serious mental problems. But this is all very different than fantasizing about it obsessively, wanting specifically to have sex with a corpse, especially, if it's that of a specific person. That has malfunction written all over it. Worse, I suspect, for at least some of these people, and probably in the case in question, it's not just about sex with a dead person, so much as it is about the violence of death and dominance expressed through sex. Again, this would be closer to rape than sex, where the sexual act is merely means to an end. All in all, I'd definitely classify necrophilia as a warning sign, but not necessarily an indication of a major mental problem on its own.
