Airport Bus Review

I finally found some good people to do missions with and saved up enough for the Airport Bus. I almost had second thoughts about buying a Mallard instead, but I'm glad I didn't.

Overall I would probably give it an 8.7 out of 10.

The Good

-it can take a lot of damage from crashing and still drive properly, if you're a bad driver (I hit over 100 cars and it still drove normally)

-it can flip over cars and trucks if you hit them in the side

-it can go pretty fast compared to some vehicles in the game

-it only costs $200 to be delivered, and since I spend $500 at the beginning of every mission for a vest that stops 1 or 2 bullets, $200 for a cool vehicle is a reasonable price to pay

-most people won't even kill you when you're driving it (which is weird because they kill me when I'm driving any other vehicle, or just walking)

-some people will even get in when you pull up to them and they'll set waypoints on the map, so you can simulate being a bus driver

-it handles like a bus should handle

-it can drive up some hills

-it can go off jumps pretty well

-the interior is really nice to look at, and overall it's probably one of the best looking buses I've seen in a video game

The Bad

-I don't know why it costs so much more than a shuttle bus, and even more than some aircraft

-it can be blown up by a single sticky bomb

-people will steal it sometimes because they want to drive it

-NPCs won't get in the bus as passengers

I would recommend this vehicle to anyone.

BAD
• it's slow as a grassfed poop.
• it's a long, slow target.
• All those windows means you're exposed with no where to go.
• It's a magnet for explosives.
• Won't fit through the car wash.

Otherwise, yeah, it's great when you have a group to tool around with. :)

Nice review. I love using buses in GTA O, fun vehicle to tour around the map with crew/friends or even randoms in public lobbies like you said

A Maned Wolf

You forget that the driver can use a sawed-off shotgun while driving.

I killed a guy with it while off radar driving a stolen city bus.... hate mail for a solid week :)

I once picked up randoms without getting stickied?!? Then we went to war for a bit with the filth. I prefer to be the passenger though (love first person views inside vehicles). Can't beat Dead Island's vehicle view though. Being a passenger on that game doing drive-bys on zombies is the best.

I'm almost tempted to call this a waste of money but I remembered that I bought a Shuttle Bus and a Marquis. Good on you for trying something different OP! We really need to get some tweaks to FR so people would actually use them.

I was actually thinking about buying a bus. It would be nice to get around in something different and in a way, help other players get to a destination if they have no vehicle. But yes, as mentioned, you may possibly become a target to those less-friendly players. Good post OP, can't wait to purchase my bus! :)

It is quite fun to park on the train lines in such a way that the train catapults the bus, love this vehicle, it can take a LOT of damage

This is why GTA:O sucks. Performance and durability is all you idiots give a damn about.

My advice is to not buy armor. Ever.

Also, don't drive a bus load of people around a FR sesh I'm in or I will blow ya'll up just for the sh*ts and giggles. :)

I was reading a bunch of greentext on imgur earlier and I thought this would end in some ridiculous story.

That's how I know its enough internet for today.

Isnt it just the regular bus with LSIA liverys and colors?

Waste of money since you find them often in the city and there are 3 set spawns around the airport.

The problem is that people have to devide between performance/durability and uniqueness.

You have probably noticed that some unusual masks or car colors (for example hot pink) cost quite a lot more than others, only because they are more eye catching.

Of course, a bus is also very eye catching, but that doesn't really justify the insanely high purchase cost in my opinion.

It can be very boring to grind half a million dollars, and I think that I speak for most of the people if I say that I'd rather spend that money on cars or actually useful Pegasus vehicles than for something that's just for fun with no real purpose of use.

The bus, the dump and the Titan are very good examples for that.

You can do really funny things with these vehicles but the general GTA Online player (who has been grinding missions he doesn't even like for hours and days) won't have fun for a long time with it, this is why we see most people driving in only the best cars of their classes.

Honestly, I don't think that I would have spent 2 millions on the Titan if I hadn't been gifted billions last december...

I thought this review was going to give the vehicle a free PASS, but my preconceptions were BUS-ted; you were harsh but FARE.

Oh god I'm so alone.

Don't waste your money on the Dashound 6-wheeled coach, once you flip it onto its side it's f*cking impossible to get it to roll back onto its wheels, even on perfectly flat ground. I've had to abandon my Dashound so much that I never call for it now.

I'd still buy it. I've never flipped mine.
