I'm a bit concerned regarding this, because I don't know if, it will be possible to transfer my character and stats from my old PSN account on PS3 to my new account on PS4.

 

What are your thoughts on this?

I think your PSN account is your PSN account - regardless of whether it's PS3 or PS4. It ravels with you when you sign in, surely?
