So, How's That Liberator You Bought?

I use it every now and again, its fun and it eats mountains for breakfast

I actually try to use it every session. Very fun truck. I'll drive by some randoms and almost always they scramble to get in cars to chase me. Most have never even seen the Liberator before.

 

Sometimes I'll even use it for missions. Now thats fun.

We hold crew meetings every wednesday and friday night... so this vehicle comes out of storage many times and then we mountain climb chilliad and josiah Mountains ..

But to drive all the same themed monster truck is a bit lame IMO.. i would love to see different themes..

It's not much fun to drive. It's terrible at jumps. There's something off with its physics.

I put this idea a few other places on the forum too but if you get even teams of liberators and an empty panto to the soccer field you can play soccer. That's a blast.

Had it spawn in zancudo and forgotten about it more times than I have actually driven it. Thats not to say I regret the purchase. Still used it more than the dump truck, barracks, shamal, maverick, frogger, others I cant even remember the names of and the tank. Buzzard is the only one I have used more.

Some tools a while back were f*cking with me during Rooftop Rumble, trying to run me over because I had the document. I managed to get into my car, and started heading towards Madrazo's with the two reprobates in hot pursuit, attempting to P.I.T me. When they eventually pulled away, thinking I was going to deliver the document, I called Pegasus. I then got my Liberator from the Vinewood spawn, and proceed to a house around the corner from Martin's, and ramped into the back yard.Then I spent 20 minutes driving the Liberator straight at the garden wall, doing backflips, while these two assholes waited outside the gate to try and kill me.

 

I am as patient as Job. I will not be bowed, I will not be trolled. The Liberator is my chariot, and the Special Carbine my sword, we shall defend Los Santos 'til I no longer draw breath.

Agreed. Needs slightly more torque, and a bit more weight. I think they went for a much too bouncy feel, which seems reasonable when driving at low speed, but as soon as you roll or jump it's all f*cked up and swings around like a tit in the breeze.

Seriously though, that was the dumbest and laziest update. The Liberator is fun for a few moments but easily forgettable soon after (And I won't even get on the fact that the body is just a reskin of the Granger), the chopper bike is a stupid re-skin of the police bike, the musket is as useful as any other musket in a world of assault rifles and rocket launchers, and the clothing is just pathetic. Even the Flight School was more enjoyable for me, at least I fly the Besra and the Swift often.

Being part of the American Independence Day DLC, so they make sense. Not sure why you'd make such a dig?

 

Unless, of course, you mean that the fabric textile which the flags are made from are cheap and rather stiff, then I have to agree.

They could've used a more versatile fabric like viscose rayon, which would be more breathable and move more nicely in a flapping breeze.

aaah the Liberator... its pretty much collecting dust in the pegasus warehouse, along with 99% of my other pegasus vehicles.
