Like the poll asks...

For me I love Stevie's vehicle thefts. Going to specific locations and finding the vehicles is kind of like a treasure hunt in a way combined with some Gone In 60 Seconds type sh*t and it tests how well you know the city. After that are LJ's drug runs. I like using Dwayne's back up whilst doing these and in third are the vigilante misisons for a similar reason.

As I've said before though in other threads I love all of GTA IV's side missions, but these three are the best ones IMO. The thing I love especially regarding LJ's drug runs, Brucie's exotic exports and Stevie's vehicle thefts is they're always given in a different order in every save you make of GTA IV. I wonder how many people know with the exotic exports sometimes Brucie will ask for a different vehicle even the scenario is the same?

It's for this reason I always come back to replay GTA IV. The fact side missions are given in different orders makes them hard to plan to for as you never actually know what you're going to get.

Most Wanted.

Loved to be officer Niko Bellic, the underground cop who fight the crime with criminal tactics.

The Assassination missions, and Stevie's car thefts. Niko seems even more bad-ass performing assassinations for a fixer.

Stevie's cars is also one of my favorites, it was fun going all around the map looking for cars, and using the text messages. It really makes you pay attention to street names and different roads, freeways, bridges, etc.

The Assassination missions. I loved going around feeling like Agent 47, trying to find the best approach to kill the target or targets. After that it'd be Most Wanted and then the races from Brucie.

That would have been perfect !

Most Wanted , Assassination missions and Drug running. Personally I liked all of the side missions but those are just my favourites.

Lethal Vaccine

Stevie's Car Thefts was the same to me as collectables. I just opened up a Youtube guide, checked the location for each vehicle, got each vehicle delivered without a scratch. Btw, all of Stevie's Car Theft vehicles are EC (Exclusive Color) and those paintjobs will never be found on the streets and no pay and spray will give you those colors, either.

But if I had to pick, I'd probably pick Most Wanted.

I found most of the side missions to be boring, however Assassinations and Races were pretty cool.

Most Wanted and Vigilante. I remember booting up GTA IV for the first time in 2009 (I was a bit late to the party :p) on my brand new 120 GB slim PS3, cracking open my cheat guide, spawning an FIB Buffalo, and cracking down on those side missions.

I might reinstall GTA IV on my PC to have a run through the game again and redo all of the side missions.

You should just get the FIB Buffalo on a 4 star wanted level, much more fun and accomplishing. Or you can take it in the mission "To Live and Die in Alderney." However, you will fail the mission if you take it during this mission. I used to be a big fan of the FIB Buffalo in IV + Episodes. Before I made my perfect IV, TLaD, and TBoGT mastersaves, I had an FIB Buffalo in all 3 games, along with an Enforcer and some NOOSE vehicles like the Cruiser and Patriot. But now all I do is go for Unique and EC vehicles inside IV/TLaD/TBoGT. In IV, I also made them AP.

Assassination missions and Most Wanted. Those were my favorite parts of the game not related to the story.

Most Wanted, because trying to kill those criminals was awesome. My fave mission of these is Mervin Eskuchen's, due to the location and that the crew drives Patriots. Also an easter egg, all the most wanted criminals appear in the mission, and differ in look. For example, look out for a Skinhead during Marty Boldenow mission, his friends are Jamaicans :D Those guys drop money when killed.

"I have a client with a problem, You'll get your normal rate... to assist them with it"

Assasinations did it for me, these we're the most fun for me, with the Most Wanted being a close second.

I also like Stevie's Car Theft's, now that I know where they spawn without even looking on the map.

I liked Little Jacob's drug runs the best in IV, because of the unpredictability - sometimes it was ambushed by a rival gang, sometimes it was a police bust. And you could bring Dwayne's boys with you for any gunplay that went down.

In the Episodes, my favorite side mission was the Drug Wars from TBOGT.

Vigilante. To this day I can still spend countless hours enjoying the activity, finding new, unique ways to approach the situation. One of my favorite things to do is arriving at the scene with Dwayne's backup and quickly going into cover. Soon enough the cops will arrive and a huge shootout will ensue.

Yeah I do that, the ensuing gunfights are crazy, especially when it involves rival gangs, best place to do it is in Broker. Try starting a shootout between Dwayne's boys and NHH gang members in the subway stations around North and East Holland. Intense and explosive gunfights in close quarters, it's off the chain. IV's superb gunshot sounds just make it all the more terrifying and ear-shattering.

Also try bringing Dwayne's boys with you on Brucie's car thefts, that's fun too.

I liked the Vigilante side missions the most. It offered so many different scenarios which extended the game play of IV considerably.

Cheers.

GTA IV's vigilante missions are the best in the series IMO because of giving more scenarios than simply chasing people in cars like the 3D era.
