1.17 screwed up the radio

On both sp/mp my radio sound goes in and out. Very anoying. Did this happen to anybody else...

The radio tends to skip for me. I could be listening to Weazel News then suddenly a song is playing.

It seems to not finish songs for me and skips to midway through the next song. It seems all of the stations do that to me.

for me it was 1.16 and the radio started turning itself off when I logged in

To me it sounds like you have the radio fade on when someone starts talking on Mic the radio goes lower... i dont know though. Its in options somewhere

Have not faced this problem so far.But there are situations where the songs were messed up.Such as Los Santos Rock Radio playing Convoy,Sleepwalking and Psycho in a row.After switching sessions it was fine though.

I turned off the volume for music in the options long ago

I have the same issue. Just driving around I noticed how the music got quieter as if the track was about to end. I experimented a bit and found out that whenever I released the throttle of the car (Furore GT) the sound returned to it's original volume and hitting the throttle again effectively lowered the radio volume.

 

It is true that there is a setting that works like this with mics. Meaning that when someone talks the radio volume gets quieter.

But it's not supposed to be triggered by car sounds or any other sounds to my knowledge. It certainly never did before 1.17.

I don't even have a mic and I only play in invite only sessions.

Who the hell still listens to the radio? I set the music volume to zero well over 6 months ago because I was so fed up with hearing the same songs over and over.
