I believe an easy way to fix this is not to add new game modes but polish what exists and make it worth doing. Gang attacks: Currently the way these work the difficulty of the attack increases with your overall level leaving you to fight like 3 guys with mini guns and the rest shotguns and advanced rifles for a meager 2 grand divided up in crates and some ammo that usually just barely replenishes what you used. My suggestion here is to divide up these attacks into easy medium and hard catagories with rewards fitting the effort easy rounds basically same as current rewards medium the cash is increased to 1 grand per crate alittle more ammo dropped hard the cash is pushed to 2 grand per crate and alittle more ammo. You will have to also factor in player participation number of players in the world and the risk factor as well and come up with a sort of loot share system so people who are teaming can use that. Crate drops: Make them available in all lobbies (to add more for everyone to do) 3 difficulties easy 1 car of 4 ballers or vagos defending medium 2 granger of professionals or 1 lost van 2 riders and 2 motorcycles hard merry weather 1 merry weather mesa 2 riders 1 patriot 2 riders and a buzzard. Rewards would be set at lowest for single players and the reward for each catagory only increases by max number of players in session. when the event is completed the first person to touch the crate gets put in a temporary passive state and is given the option to loot share with any and all involved valueless items like t shirts or molotove cocktails would be rewarded to all the cash ammo weapons and rp divided between everyone shared with. As long as the value are decent the event would be fun. Kill target: Make available for all lobbies a single player lobby would only get the lowest cash payout of 3-4k for doing the deed the payment increases by number of players up to 12-15k maybe simple sweet and competitive. As is now you fight with everyone get blown up etc and youll get from 3-7ish k not really worth the risk imo. Armed robbery: These are rather fun doesn't pay much alittle over 1 grand a store and not worth sharing. My idea here is to make him empty the till if you leave right then you have plenty enough time to leave before the cops arrive or after the register making him open a safe or lock box in which case you and your buddies will most likely get into a police shootout more cash more risk at the end the lead player who held up clerk would be able to lootshare all the money with his accomplices. Adding to this though being able to rob the clothing stores and ammunation if you are brave enough poysonbys or w/e and ammunation would have highest pay outs the other smaller stores would have lowersame basic idea as the small stores but when robbing a binco etc you get an automatic +2 wanted added to w/e your current heat level may be from robbing stores higher risk higher reward. for the ammunation the guy behind the counter will never surrender quietly and pulls the full auto shotgun on your asses you have to kill him and take the money crack the safe +3 stars added to wanted level as it is a hard catagory robbery. Poysenbys or w/e is your highest reward target hold up the clerk get the cash open the safe same +3 stars same lootshare option at the end. New game modes: Since this game is called grand theft auto there should be more grand theft auto involved. Id like to see the old lists of cars to steal at your leisure from the old games readded 10% of the cars value -4x damage costs on any damage done to vehicle laid back relaxed and done as you see them. The second is a gone in 60 seconds type vehicle list large list have to get the cars in a specific amount of time all players in session can participate you get 10% of vehicle value - 4x damage costs on a like 20-25 car list with a time limit and a large cash bonus to be split among everyone who participated. The more cars on the list you delivered the larger your share is. As a twist the more vehicles delivered the difficult the cops become as they are catching on so the last car or cars may be difficult and require team work to get the bonus. Bonus is only paid if all cars are delivered within time limit. Thats what i have i feel it would make the online alot more fun and alot more rewarding if these things are done. For anyone that is a triple-digit rank-wise, gang attacks are just now simply ways of killing time while you wait for your buddy to come back from being afk. They just matter so little now. When you're a low-level, they're great. They throw ammo at you, some cash, and nifty toys that you can't get at your current rank. They're fun to do, and I try to do any that I come across at least once if I haven't done it before. But there really is no point because why should I waste my time dealing with minigun wielding AI for cash that I can just as easily get, (and for way more) by doing a mission that would be equivalent to doing 5-6 gang attacks? I mean, if you're going to put 30 AI in one spot, and then toss them heavy weapons, shouldn't the reward be something more for clearing them out instead of $500 a crate? (And that's if you can find the crates! Some don't even appear in crates, and you have to double-take every spot. Thank god weapons and money glow faintly.) Kill Targets need at least a consistent money buff. 5K minimum at least, because half the time I don't even think twice about going after them because I don't want to roll the dice on a Kill Target, traverse a vast distance only to kill the target and receive 2K. Again, I could be robbing a store, doing a mission, (or a gang attack! haha) making Kill Targets seem obsolete. At least tell us what the damn reward is guys. Like an ordinary bounty. Oh, and let me elaborate on your 15K idea for Kill Targets. Maybe perhaps, these certain kill targets can also be escorted by armed response teams? N.O.O.S.E, Gruppe Sechs, (or maybe something simple like the Police or Professionals). If you kill that target, you also receive a very high wanted level. Now THAT would be a fun Kill Target. Like stores, wearing a mask should remove a single star from your (4?) star wanted level. Maybe perhaps you also need to take a photo of the corpse? I like your 'Armed Robbery' idea. (Something tells me you're still keeping faith that Heists are out there somewhere in that ghostly forgotten abyss). Robbing a store already is easy as can be, considering using a mask eliminates most of the difficulty, but you're on to something. Maybe if you get killed during the robbery, you'll lose all of the cash you stole from the store? And your teammate won't get anything either, or if he escapes, he'll be rewarded with half the take. Nah no faith in heists thats why i suggested safes in the stores to add that measure of fun ducking behind shelves and counters trying to help your main guy get out with everyones cash. as for your suggestion on targets having them guarded by police and getting high wanted levels that would definately be fun and i never thought of it. For the robbies i figured everyone would try to protect the main guy as he has everyones cash but yeah if he dies it should all be lost. 'Had a 1-star wanted level while submerged in a submarine and I saw a police cruiser looking for me in the dark depths below. No place is safe from the LSPD.
