Why are there no heavy-set people in GTAO?

Two pages and nobody called out the fact that this guy doesn't know that Britain, and the UK are the same place!? I expected better from JollySWAGman and AlienTwo! For shame!

The character model has to be roughly the same size to avoid rendering issues when in vehicles and on bikes. It could also affect hit detection if your character grew in width by double.

Have to resize clothes and make diffrent hitboxes for players

Larger hit boxes would also mean that heavy set players would be at a disadvantage in free aim, so then you'd just have the fat characters complaining they die more easily.

Then they'd have an advantage in assisted aim.

I think it's because Rockstar is in the UK and they don't have any fat people over there.

Eh! England is part of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales ) and The United Kingdom of Great Britain and northern Ireland.

 

British and English are virtually interchangeable.

 

Also R* has offices not only in Scotland, but also in England ( Leeds and Lincoln )

But yah body models are set so clothing options etc. dont have to be coded differently for diff body types.

I used a fat CJ on a few play throughs. He even had his own unique dialouge. Fat CJ was the best CJ.
