Why are there no heavy-set people in GTAO?

As an obese gentleman myself, I was loathed to hear that GTAO does not include anyone who is a little on the heavier side. Everyone in the game is thin and well-built. Why is this?

I think it's because Rockstar is in the UK and they don't have any fat people over there.

Doesnt seem like a serious thread and r* has no connection in uk,the developer is from britain this thread makes no sense

lol I got a chuckle.

OP it's because our characters are always running around and eat next to nothing. sit on the couch in your apartment all day and eventually over time you will see a weight increase. You're welcome, OP.

I'm an obese gentlemen as well, although for the past month, I have been dieting, exercising, and joined the gym. I was 310 last month and I'm proud to say that in a months time, I am now 294.4. I have lost 17.2 pounds and I will continue until I reach my goal. :)

Enough about myself, to the OP....

The reason there is no heavy-set characters is because the character creator is pure sh*t.

You can say "fat", its ok. Theres nothing in the dictionary that describes the word fat as an insult.

Because it's too much effort for R* to give us multiple body sizes for our characters. Also the male characters aren't that well built, Sure they're thin but they have little to no muscle tone so they just look skinny fat.

Also as someone living in the UK I can tell you confidently that there are a lot of obese people over here. The only reason no one notices that a large part of the UK's population is obese is because people stereotype America as being fat but pay little to no attention to the fact the over 50% of the UK's population is obese, this is simply due to the fact that your country makes our country look miniscule (not a fat joke BTW, the UK is a mere dot on the map compared to the USA).

excuse me sir, i beg to differ

Those are NPC bystanders, not real playable characters. So the message Rockstar is sending is that others can be fat just not you? That's discrimination, it's fatist, and quite honestly it's ridiculous. Rockstar has no right to limit what weight our characters can and can't be.

To make up for this Rockstar needs to release a dlc where everyone is fat so everybody can know how it feels.

I knew quite a few people that had real fat CJs on SA.

To the point they couldnt even hop fences and climb over sh!t.

I agree it would be awesome.

But yah body models are set so clothing options etc. dont have to be coded differently for diff body types.

This is how I played through SA the second time.

I call it the Fat CJ Edition.

It was more fun than the first playthrough.

I am going to sit on the couch for what... 6 straight in game weeks? That should do it. I'll report out my findings. Fun!

You have to do it for six weeks straight real time rather than game time

If you still have a job you are definitely playing this game wrong. You really ought to get your priorities straight and really commit to the game before you worry about trivial things like your avatars weight.

Dont think I haven't noticed that you still have a partner and loving family either, you really need to get your life sorted out.

Animate more than one or two character cycles? That'd take work! You dare ask us to put effort into GTA O? - R*

In reality, think of something like the fat biker ped from GTA IV or even some of fat CJ from SA. If you want to give the player all logical swimming, vaulting, jumping, sprinting animations for equal gameplay, it's hard to make it look credible or even avoid basic clipping...

Or in case this is a joke topic, YEAH, WTF R*?!

(And the UK's obesity percentage is only 3% behind the US's, not that those supercilious limey c*nts would admit to it)

Damnit Jolly, did you just come back from a walkabout or something? You have crazy wisdom right now. It's time to fix my life... time to start snorting meth off the kids ass at my next procurement meeting. That should solve many problems, I'll get fired, divorced and disallowed by the state from visiting my son.

Plenty of time to park my character's ass on the couch in GTA:O and really get down to focusing on what matters. Gaining virtual weight.

'murica DLC coming

Déjà vu?

I don't understand this. Every time I watch TopGear there are plenty of overweight people.
