elfoam
The "I'm Still Not a Hipster" patch needs to exist, so we can have this lil'bike and perhaps even an benny version of the Panto. When they released hipster and even had a T Shirt with a fixie on it without the bike I was like really? Someome forget the main point of the update. TeammateHelper
Why is it blacklisted anyway? What the hell would a Fixter do? Freeze players by cycling to them in a fixed-gear bike? Come on, Rockstar. elfoam

whywontyoulisten
All this downtime is allowing me to get further into single player; I just completed all of Trevor's rampages, and gained a Fixter out of it. It makes no sense that this is the only place in the game that you can find them; I'd love to have one in my garage (or on the floor in the biker clubhouse). fw3
What makes this bike special are the hyper realistic physics rockstar implemented for this bike only. If you are unfamiliar with fixed gear bikes, the defining feature is the lack of a freewheel. This means that whenever the back wheel is turning, the cranks (pedals) are too. You can't coast. It gives a stripped down riding experience and provides greater rider/bike connection. rockstar nailed the riding physics, right down to the skids you can do by holding down L2 and R2 at the same time. I knew nothing of this whole thing... education is a great thing! Thx @Gisking747. Now I want one of these, too! My other bike is junk. No, literally... it's junk. elfoam
I sp to mp'd a Fixter and rode it around the entire map sticking the middle finger at rockstar. Life was good, I'll never in my life understand why it didn't come with the hipster update. Never ever seen such an oversight in my life. elfoam
I got so excited about the fixter I built a real one after my ride online https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/0B0qfCTaN5xpgQ0hGdE9JUEZBVnM Lot safer riding the games version.. reform
The fact it didn't come out with the ipstaer update, and still isn't out, makes me think there are other reasons it's been denied.
Forza Harrd
Back on 360 sp after I finished the game I bought Trevor (full beard and shaved head) a pretty flowered dress and redid the rampage to put him on a Fixster. then saved the game with him in Mirror Park at sunset. Now I upgraded I have to beat sp again. (right now I have sp saved with Franklin in a stolen police car in front of the strip club. Not the same). Coleco
I grabbed one in SP and stored it Franklin's garage to use in Director Mode. It's broken for some reason - you can't reverse by walking it backwards like with the other push bikes. Probably fine in SP but I noticed there were real issues with it when I used it with my online character in Director Mode. Guess its easier to remove it than to fix it, right? That looks amazing, nice job and super clean! I keep thinking about picking up an old frame and making a fixter pub bike. One day maybe... In game, I still can't understand why it's not online and always check the patch notes for this too.

Pretty easy, only important thing is redishing the back wheel so the chain line is dead straight. You just loosen one spoke, tighten the next etc etc to recentre the rim. 1980s Japan built bikes are by far the best value and this site is great http://sheldonbrown.com/fixedgear.html we should have a bike building thread somewhere here. I've learnt so much about finding epic frames recently it needs to be shared. Edited October 22, 2016 by elfoam

Definitely need a "real life fixter" thread here

Pretty sure that's deliberate: it's a lot easier to trackstand on a fixie. Forza Harrd
