Gisking747 Posted October 8, 2014 Share Posted October 8, 2014 Every time a new update is released, the first thing I do (after murdering some innocent people with the new guns in single player) is get online and check "Pedal and Medal cycles for the fixter. It is the only bike unavailable on the website and in gta online entirely. Seeing as rockstar sponsors the Red Hook Crit, a race for fixies, and the fact the game parodies hipsters in many ways already, it only makes sense to include it. Some photos for your enjoyment... Smooth steel frame... Mismatching rims, mmmm... The ability to customize bikes at bike shops would be cool, seeing as most of the fixies you see irl are custom built. If you have a photo of a fixter with a different colour scheme, feel free to post it! Though, aside from having another vehicle to play around with, where would the Fixer fit in the "race rankings" of existing bikes? Is it faster, more maneuverable, has a better acceleration...? I ask as that might be one issue to why they wouldn't put it in (and I only rode one once after Trevor's rampage...). Also, it may just be me, but it doesn't look designed right... Are you supposed to rest your colon on the seat inside you, are you supposed to keep yourself bent over or are you supposed to get arm extensions? You can do that with the race bikes as well (R1, or whatever is used to jump). As for the blood-flow... Are they worried people will see a second "banana seat" or something? If you are unfamiliar with fixed gear bikes, the defining feature is the lack of a freewheel. This means that whenever the back wheel is turning, the cranks (pedals) are too. You can't coast. It gives a stripped down riding experience and provides greater rider/bike connection. rockstar nailed the riding physics, right down to the skids you can do by holding down L2 and R2 at the same time. dead goon 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When I first obtained it in the game last year, I laughed because the one and only one I found was the black and orange one. That was really cool. ALSO I had no EARTHLY idea there was more than one color scheme. SICK!!! They should give us the bike already. Next week just patch it in. The fixter does ride different from the other bikes... Nice Bikes! Not a huge fan of the P.K. but the other one is maaad. Always loved seat stays that extend past the seat tube. Found some more colour schemes! 8up local Posted October 8, 2014 Share Posted October 8, 2014 i'm just going to say what i have always said when it comes to stuff like this. just have a little patience and it will be released at some point, just like all the vehicles people could not wait for and just had to SP/MP glitch them only to find R* was going to add them anyway. i just can not understand why people just can not realize this kind of stuff, but no they seemingly can not do it. Though it still baffles me that they keep having inconsequential vehicles like this stupidly rare. Insurance is only good if you SP2MPed a bike with a custom paint job like my Ballas Purple bike that completes my gang BMX collection in the back of my garage. But since SP2MPing is obviously illegitimate I'm not complaining. Regardless, BMXing and bike riding is fun because its a significantly different means of travel. Also bunny hopping can get you places a car and motorcycle can't. Also escaping a bounty on a BMX is freakin awesome and possible with bunny hopping as your biggest weapon.
