Passive Mode Update makes me rage

Why these next few suggestions haven't been implemented is beyond me.

 

Passive mode should NOT decline access to your weapons.

You should be able to use your guns whenever you like, however you like...

except for killing players.

Passive mode should just make you a ghost to everyone, much like non-contact races.

F*cking this.

 

Rockstar instead chooses to be incompetent.

however, taking cover doesn't disable passive mode... I don't get it

i find it funny that i just played the last 3 hours and even the past 3 days in passive and have yet to have passive forcibly disabled on me for "no apparent reason". only time it did so was when i was in a vehicle and killed someone, which makes total sense to me and is the way it should be. i even switched sessions and it never once disabled passive. so it makes me wonder if people really understand how passive works and also if people know that you can still indirectly kill people in passive mode with out being in a vehicle to do it or disabling it.

Guess you could say, uh, not being using the pussive mode correctly before this malfunction.

Damn rookie.

 

- Passive mode disables if you typing a phone message.

- Passive mode disables if you get into any automobile and sell it at LSC.

- Passive mode disables if you try turn it on while the rockstar save circle is spinning.

- Passive mode disables if you inside any automobile, aircraft or water vessel (and had passive mode enabled) and get killed. (This stops players from respawning passive).

 

It's been either fixed like this or broken like this but it seems R* have pinpointed issues from online people complaining about users going passive after being in a tank, jet, car - etc and on a kill spree.

So if they enable it, it will turn it off without warning sometimes or with a countdown. This also stops players who turn on passive mode to be fkheads (like myself) and stop getting killed while they get in better cover, sniper/combat positions to kill other players killing them. Alongside a touch of passive mode morons who run to tank spawn locations thinking by now, 'no one knows why I'm at the pier, downtown Vinewood, racetrack or docks' - yeh, okay mr sneaky.

Either way, I love pussive mode for my big dick killing sprees in tanks and and quickly leaving sessions or respawn in pussive to get new tank or annoy current players in jet/tank who killed me, or not in tank and used whatever to blow me up. Pussive Mode, I am what I eat.

Safehouses or a garage in current session isn't an option? when I'm afc I usually go into one my safehouses, by the time the game loaded a new session or timed me out I would been back watching the load screen or load screen failure. So, safehouse or garage is best option to be said.. Can't afford either? Get the f*ck to work on jobs you pisspoor c*nts and don't run at me you level 4 turd while I'm in a tank. f*cking parasites and then send a text, "p u s s y in a tank" - nigga school up and get yo'self a home! Just rabble-rabble-rabble. To the point, I'm saying why don't players who want to go passive mode not think to go into there safehouse or garage. If they don't own one they should not worry about freemode and remain playing jobs to earn $ to get a safehouse or garage. Why players stand in the middle of the map on passive mode and complain when they're killed... Same goes for players who pause in the middle of the map and get killed. Both reasons why passive and paused player is killed answered simply: because they're a fking idiot in passive or paused while in the open to get fked up, ain't no online respect for these idiots.

 

Edit: just like players who drive to locations and go afc, well, I'm that c*nt who be driving, flying, tank rolling up to kill them. Fk'em.

I'm saying if I see a player who is at a level that would've earn enough cash (without shark card buying, ignore that for now) they rather stand in the middle of the map in passive mode? Just spent whatever cash on a house or garage but no, stand in middle map, get killed, wonder why, complain about it... It's not hard to understand why the passive mode player complaining got killed... Safehouse, name even mentions SAFE...Run to the f*cking thing if they have to in passive mode, they're f*cking retards just like the players who pause and get killed. I don't have respect or a f*ck to give for them idiots.

I would welcome that, but I would like everyone to take notice of how mature I have been throughout this entire ordeal.

It reminds me of how I speak to others on the new headset I got a few days ago. I had never owned a headset until Saturday night, and in my first session, I told a little boy that he should be more respectful, especially when everyone was being respectful towards him. He got upset and told his 34 year old mother that some old man was saying bad things to him, and she gets on the mic, accuses me of something, and I calmly tell her what, exactly, her son said to me, what I said to him, and how I think he could use a father figure. Granted, that "father figure" line could be considered immature, but I meant what I said. By the end of this little conversation, this kid's mother, Michelle, apologized for accusing me of anything and the kid left the session shortly after that. Most likely of his own volition because he heard everything.

 

Is that considered off-topic? Oh, well.

The entire game is sh*tty to play with other people, the radar telling people where you are at all times, the weapon wheel warriors that think they are so good pulling all kinds of weapons out of their asses. Game is soooooo realistic.

 

I curse cockstar when I play this game for a lot of their dumb decisions into the development of this game. Every patch brings more problems, they are dumb as f*ck to cater to people who like to grief. Which is why this game isn't as popular as it could have been.

 

I can't even sneak around in stealth mode to regularly kill people in a fun way. Which is why TLoU's multiplayer has better combat in terms of stealth and gunplay balance. No one on there kills me 20 times in a row, why? BECAUSE THEY CAN'T f*ckING SEE ME. GTA V is supposed to be a free roam game, yet I can't f*cking use stealth. f*ck YOU COCKSTAR.

 

I've returned back to solo and remember why I stopped playing this piece of sh*t game, just to ride around in my Harley and pull the same sh*tty jobs.

yes we need to go to solo/invite because people like you do not know or want to take the time to DM/TDM. so how about you do that like R* intended. this is the kind of GTA;O community mind set that is rather narrow minded to the fact there are other players out there who enjoy playing the game without killing and shooting everything that moves in sight. also FR is not the lions den, but more like a big nest of lemmings that only follow each other around doing the same thing which is to shoot everything.

One should not attempt to assume that he has any knowledge of what other's do. Most of the time, one is wrong, like now.

 

I never said I do any griefing or mindless killing of any sort. Funny that you should jump to that conclusion for any other reason than you being offended by what I said. It's ok though, maybe you will think harder about the type of person you are/want to be.

 

I also do not just go into a FR session and simply meander about in some "passive mode". What kind of douche just wants to stand around and watch others kill each other and somehow not be involved...? That's like going to a movie theater and then complain when everybody goes to watch the film while you stand in the lobby... That's what a solo session is for. People need to get off the pity pot, Oh, don't shoot me, I didn't do anything wrong...waa, waa, waa. and deal with the cards you are dealt.

funny i did not say you were grieving or mindlessly killing people. i only said you were narrow minded in saying people playing in passive should GTFO of FR. which is very narrow minded and that i'm being just as narrow minded in saying for you to go to DM/TDM for your PvP fun, even though it is there for PvPing like R* intended otherwise why would they even put it in the game? infact why did they put 95% of this other content if FR was to be a PvP war zone?

 

why do you think "community mind set" means only you? also for what it is worth, yes a good majority (about 75%) of the players i have came across online are just like a bunch of lemmings that only run around killing each other over and over. now maybe i'm blind, but where is the fun in that? i know PvPing can be fun and do enjoy it myself from time to time, but to be constantly PvPing all the time just seems boring and pointless. well unless you want those weapon tints unlocked i guess.

i hope not, i have a lot of fun in killing or getting people killed while in passive. to be ghosted would take half my fun away. i find it quite funny when i'm on a building or the train and someone is just sitting there trying to shoot or blow me up only to run into them knocking them off to their death or to be hit by the train getting them killed or even just to deny them the privilege of standing on the train with me. personally i think it serves them right for trying to kill a passive like that. for as long as this game has been out you'd think people realize by now what passive is and how it works.

Free roam is a place for players to freely roam around the city doing what they like, it just so happens that a lot of players enjoy getting into battles, sometime it's more fun to have a battle in FR, there's more players and more options then there are in TDM/DM. I'm not saying it's cool for a player to go around killing someone over and over again even after they've clearly given up, but to say that the reason why people shoot each other in FR is because they are "lemmings that only follow each other around doing the same thing which is to shoot everything." is a bit insulting to those who enjoy a good FR battle.

 

The fact is that if you join a public FR lobby you're going to have to deal with the fact that other people don't play the way you would like them to, and sometimes their going to interfere with whatever it is you do in FR.

lmao, i know that when in FR it is what it is and do not mind getting killed or people PvPing in FR. it's this mind set that these people have that FR is for PvP and if i don't want any part of it then to GTFO. which i do go to solo/invite when i do not want to be bothered. ok i will admit that considering most players i have met in FR to be lemmings is not fair and i do agree and understand that people do enjoy a good fight. hell even i do PvP and enjoy it, but you also have to admit that is exactly what most players do, which is to just follow each other around shooting each other.

 

anyway this needs to get back on topic and will say earlier for the first time i had passive forcibly disabled. i had it on and even switched sessions without it disabling, but after getting off the metro i just happened to hit the B button instead of A and saw my character throw a punch. i know for a fact it was on before i got on the metro because i had just turned it on and then ran straight to the metro stop only a few blocks away and no one was even close to being near me.
