'Locked' Master Data

So me and a few guys started a round of Master Data and killed all the Triads and so and so. Following this we were instructed to find a black truck. Upon finding the black truck I was shocked when my attempts to open the doors did not work, as if it was some incredible unopenable car.

 

I thought surely this was a glitch and waited for other players to try and open the door, wow oh wow the same thing happened to me. Basically everyone screwed around trying to open the infinite locked truck for ten minutes before I got out a grenade launcher and put the sorry ordeal to a rest.

 

Firstly, has anyone else experienced this, and secondly, did I miss out on a good pay out? I view this event with humor but if the $$$$'s were there.. lel.

Have not had this happen to me. And the pay is just as all other missions, it depends on how many players and how long it takes to complete.

I did this mission a couple of days ago and everything worked great. Payout was around 15-20K.

R* remembers the heyday of $75k Rooftop Rumble farming every time they take away our fun.

My understanding from a thread here in the online forum is that there is a base payout for each mission, for every 3 minutes of the duration of your mission you will get a multiplier on your base payout up to a max. of 15 minutes.....so a 5x multiplier for a 15 minute mission, 4x multiplier for a 12 minute mission and so on....the amount of players in the mission affects the final payout aswell. So it works out something like this

 

Rooftop Rumble - Solo - 4 Minutes - $7000

Rooftop Rumble - 4 Players - 15 Minutes - $23000

The 'On Call' feature makes it much easier connecting for games too. I guess that's also meant to purposefully go on par with it?
