You know what really annoys me? (Heist)

Everytime I click on a facebook post made by rockstar all you see is "heist" and it gets about 400 likes.

 

Then following that you get people saying "you lied to us blar blar blar" but as far as I know rockstar has never actually promised heists?

 

Like, has it ever been put down in a statement by rockstar that they have promised us heist? Because I have never seen it.

 

Side note: doesn't help when you have these tipsters saying when heist are coming out everyday either.

they did talk about heists in their first gtao video (at least im pretty sure).

why even have a room where you could plan out your heist in the 10 car apartments??

heists keeps getting delayed because of hackers.

I'm pretty sure when the GTA Online teaser video(s) mentions "co-operating with your team/ friends in heists", or something to similar effect, that's a bit of a clue that heists, using teamwork, would be a part of GTAO. And it isn't as of yet, 1 year since GTA Online has been released.

Anyway, plenty of threads on this subject I'm afraid.

EDIT - sorry, it's got nothing to do with hackers. Well, it may have done for a short time, but certainly that is not the current reason.

It is not the question. You clearly said that 'Rockstar never promised to heists' and you were wrong on this point.

Scroll back through the Newswire to early this year and see them state in writing Heists were to be released in Spring of this year. I would link but I cba, this topic is too old.

They never promised anything. They just said "bla, blah, blah GTA Online blah, blah, blah or tacle a heist." That is not a promise.

At the time GTA:O came online, Rockstar stated they had no plans to release for next gen, thus all their promises of heists were originally planned for PS3/X360

It is not the question. You clearly said that 'Rockstar never promised to heists' and you were wrong on this point.This being one the many heists threads in the last week, I'm going to say this is on its way to being locked, or at most used as bait by the Mods so they can stack up reasons for banning lurkers. On-topic why do you people still give a damn about heists, most of y'all would die within less then 2-3 min of starting it.
