A "Reminder of discussion" for all forums

I like discussing GTA games. I like GTA games. If not, why would I be here? But, I don't like every part of every GTA game. Sometimes, there are parts of GTA games that annoy me a bit and make me wonder "Why would they design it like that?". So, naturally, I like to discuss those issues on these forums.

 

But every time I or someone else makes a post like that, there's always that one guy who says "IF U H8 GTA WHY R U HERE?" or something along those lines. Every time.

 

So, I would like the people who run this place to put in an announcement topic or something reminding people that this is a place for DISCUSSION. It's a place to discuss both the good and the bad of GTA games. This is not a circle jerk, it's a discussion website, so therefore it is not a good idea to silence criticism and negative opinions. If you want a person who shares all of your opinions and never disagrees with you, then get off the internet and have a discussion with yourself in the mirror. But I don't think that would be very interesting.

 

So what do you say guys? Good idea to remind people this place is not designed or intended to be a massive circle jerk?

No, report the posts and do not respond, just ignore them. The moderators will deal with those members.

Eh... as annoying as it is, it's part of the discussion. People can and will say whatever, no notice will change that, just act as Troll Bait.

 

Makes me think of that quote often associated with Voltaire;

The circle jerk, depending on where you post (like the Online section), goes both ways.

 

Post something positive? You're instantly a fanboy and will be maligned as such.
