ILS_Supernova
Annoyed seen as other companies are bringing out loads trailers and info but its Rockstar so we all know what to expect now
Bozzah
I think they just don't want to waste money for the commercials of a game that is already known so well Edited October 7, 2014 by Bozzah
CarlitoDorito
Haven't you heard the latest? R* feed off the misery of GTA players around the world, it makes their wallets grow bigger, they then release stuff so they can fill them wallets! and they usual do. They're evil aren't they (skynet evil).
SCOOBASTEEB
No. They do it with everything they do. Nothing and then something, it's the Rockstar way.
freedom
You would think though that they would tease it a bit. What are you talking about? They released a trailer, infos & a bunch of screenshots three weeks ago. There isn't any need for them to pump out pre-release media any faster. CarlitoDorito
They could do what films do, instagram teaser then a teaser for the next teaser then a trailer.
Red Hat
Nah, Rockstar is a silent bastard. So I guess we can only wait and watch.
bfett21
Umm there have been 2 trailers released. Probably one more update this month or early November. Its not like Rockstar was giving out weekly information for GTAV last year. Patience you fools.
mjansing82
I'm not necessarily talking about trailers, more like ign doing Q&A or in depth information on the new features. Majewski79 and huiop2
DS 17
Nobody cares. It s an old game. Some people here already know every little corner of it. If they release e. g. another trailer, they would show everything they changed. And then there s the question if that stuff is even enough for a whole trailer. Jimbatron
They will do all that later. They do this all the time, build up suspense for ages by saying little, and then shock by saying a lot when you least expect it. As people have said above, it's the R* way. Undyne
Everyone already knows about the game. The improvements they made are quite subtle for another trailer to be made out of it. As for articles and stuff we all know R* don't do these things.
tator1
It's not necessary for them to continuously release information, the GTA series is kind of like the iPhone when it comes from a marketing standpoint, regardless of what Apple puts into the iPhone, you are still going to buy it because of the name. It's the same concept with a GTA game, if they released GTA VI tomorrow, people would flood to stores to buy a copy all because of the name. That's why Rockstar broke records with every major GTA release (3 VC SA IV & V), from a marketing standpoint, they really don't have to say anything as people will still flood to buy the game. Fuzzknuckles
I'm not surprised because it's always been this way with R*. I prefer it. I think the less we know, the less we can speculate wildly over and eventually be disappointed by. The constant updates from other devs about this and that and we did this and we did that and we're doing... SHUT UP. Just get on with making the game, damn you. Tell me when it's ready, I'll take it from there. BLOOD and bfett21 2 Signatures are dumb anyway.
CarlitoDorito
They could also do what a lot of developers do, show us everything, have trailers for one feature, pre order trailers. That's another option.

FriendlyFireOFF
GTA 5 O'Clock tomorrow might be worth a watch and we also surely must have a GTAO trailer to look forward to. Plus loads more info before release day! XXVIII

tator1
So what do you want more to know? We already know about every new feature. If you think that they hiding something then be ready for disappointment. What hahaha?!?! Where has Rockstar ever came out and said here is a list of all the new features that are going to be included into the Next gen & PC versions of the game?!?!! Jesus, quit putting words into the companies mouth when they haven't even released a list of new features to be included. Rockstar is been known to be quiet about their projects as that is how they operate internally. Please stop saying we know all the new features when nothing has been specifically released by Rockstar themselves.
fac316
The lack of news comes from the fact that the game will virtually be the same as the last one w/ stuff that won't change gameplay @ all (more sharks/animals, better graphics, better car damage etc.) I don't know why people would think that this game is going to be drastically different (its gonna be fun to read abt on Nov. 18). Its the same story, same missions, and same focus on GTAO and not SP.
mjansing82
It's like the ps4 exclusive thing. All we really know is that there is exclusive content. We don't know what exactly, could be timed exclusive, could be vehicles and weapons hell for all we really know it could be the return of the double headed dildo from SA. I'd like them to spill some of the beans by now. Edited October 7, 2014 by mjansing82
jimbo1a
I'm not sure there has been a lack of news there just doesnt have to be loads of it as it's not a game that hasnt been released before. I'm happy if we get nothing now I feel I have seen enough until I get the game when it releases.
minifat
It comes out in 6 weeks. I actually am a little surprised. A lot of people are still thinking about whether or not they should re-buy the game, and so far, Rockstar hasn't given them many reasons. I'm getting it regardless. Plus there are a few other games coming out that DAY that I want.

DaCosta
Anyone surprised by the lack of news regarding the remaster especially since it's coming out soon? I do sometimes wonder if Rockstar might become despondent from the overwhelming wave of utter negativity from, what is in fact, a minority of fans, and that their passion may be dimmed but then I remember that it's a multi-billion dollar organisation, so their pre-sale campaign will be as calculated and sensible as usual. Basically, the moment they release major info, or a new trailer, the large majority will be desperate to see it and be full of eagerness and excitement once again (if they're not already!) However, it might just be - as many people have said - that there is not that much else to show. It's just the next-gen enhanced game and all the improvements have already been announced. I suspect Rockstar will have another surprise up their sleeves though!
