OP, in your opinion, what is the best pistol for headshots(on players)?

Combat Pistol, the rest are good in their own way!

Aim for the face helmet doesn't help that.

 

Gotta love the headshot for newer players, I've gotten so many people calling me a glitcher or cheater. Untill I show them exactly what I am doing. The light tilt after lock on. Then I will suggest they join a quarantine or underground shootout with forced and pickup too train.

 

Training for the sniper, wait till night time and aim for moving car head lights. Canyon deathmatch is also a good trainer.

Not sure if the helmets don't protect you from face shots, can anyone confirm?

I'm pretty sure it does protect the face!

Actually headshots are the things that keep me using some low-ranked weapons. Maybe I'll stay away from them now that those BP helmets have been added to the game - dammit R* - as well as the fact that the Marksman Rifle is quite easy to use as a med-long range weapon.

The marksman rifle reminds me of the DMR from Halo Reach, definitely one of my favorite DLC weapons.

I dont get it... R* is making this game so easy for non-skilled players.... they dont need to gain experience when R* is giving them 1st:bullet- and gasproof helmets / masks and 2nd:semi-auto sniper rifle (Whos idea was that????) that can be gained at any level.... like when there was heavy sniper rifle which actually needed some kinda skill to use it faster than opponent... Now it sounds like CoD 1st semi-auto snipers and they are used the same way... hardscoping and spamming....

 

God damn R*.... U making noobs be able to be bulletproof AND use sniper rifle as assaultrifle...

helmets have sucked the life out DM for me. people can walk away from a 2 yard sawnoff shotgun blast to the face while i can still HS someone without a helmet with the same sawn off from maybe 25 yards away. absolute joke.

Got to love a sneaky headshot to some unaware player from far away, that what keeps me amused between racing....

I like to use the heavy sniper and take out people from a distance, does the helmets effect the heavy sniper ?? I haven't noticed any trouble killing people with a good ol'head shot with the heavy sniper myself !!

Have you ever tried using this marksman rifle? It's not even close to Heavy sniper at all. The damage is 20% less than even a Sniper rifle unlocked for every 25lvl player. And this scope with laughable zoom. What are you talking about?

You are comparing these guns like CoD... Compare BO2 DSR-50 and the 1st semi-auto sniper....

It's the same.. They both get kills, only difference is that DSR has shot after shot delay (by this i mean that u need to wait like 1-2 secs til u can shoot next shot and that is enough for the other player to kill you.

 

So short: Needed skill is only difference.

 

And before some smart-ass cums here *laughing to my own joke* and starts talking 'bout qsing... im not talking about quickscoping... im telling you my opinion: Hardscoping is okay, but really?? using god damn sniper like assault rifle... they don't need the skill to hit with the 1st bullet... they can just spam the trigger and hope for hit....

 

yeah i've used mm-rifle.... it feels like dragunov in CoD... never liked it, will never like it...

I guess it does minimize the damage of the headshot, even though it still kills one-shot.

 

Try the normal sniper. U feel it there. Two shots needed with that gun to the head.

Didn't think peoples stupidy would be so funny. I genuinely think alot of people ain't noticed. The same people that called me and my mates "hackerz" for getting the old one-shot-kills will think we're just not running our mods now... even thou we never were!

For real: I don't congratz them usually (sometimes i do, usually lower skilled players so they get some self-confidence.) i just usually keep on playing and try to find out better ways to dodge hits to the head, but i shall never use bullet-proof helmet. _AMEN_

Playing deathmatches with TheMckeever,ArmorKing and Handcuff Charlie used to be my thing, but it's just not fun anymore due to theses stupid ass helmets. I think if we could get a helmet off option for deathmatches it would help somewhat. I want my one kill pistol headshots back.

Done a great LTS that was just a RDR-style shootout with 16 players... no helmets. Yep from now on I reckon I'm gonna always do this!
