So why can't we drive a train?

Driving the Train was awesome in GTA SA and was expecting it in this but got a little disappointed. Could have made it only in SP & disable it online but whatever.

if it was going to be anything like san andreas (flying off the rails going to fast) it would probably start problems (glitches lots fps drops) also i couldn't imagine how f*cking chaotic flying of the rail would be. also as Apex Predator said their would have to be certain animations and other complicated stuff.

I would rather get up and move around inside trains like RDR. In all the years I've owned SA I think I've only ever driven the trains once or twice. Didn't really find it that fun.

Why not have both options available? For those who wish to drive the train, go to the locomotive's door. Should you wish to walk around inside the train enter it using a passenger door?

 

I feel that would make both camps happy.

It is strange that it wasn't included except for the one mission, but when it came to crunch time, there was probably billions of things that needed work, meaning unfortunately, we don't get to drive trains.

Because you can't have everything. It will probably be possible in the enhanced version.
