Would you say last 2 updates has had lazy cars?

I think the lack of mods has been mentioned before, but thinking about cars now and comparing them to older machines, what a difference.

 

Look at the Huntley S, Zentorno, Mascarro, Jester, etc. Even the Turismo at least has spoiler options.

 

Now look at recent cars.

 

Corqutte Classic - 1 crappy carbon hood, no blower engine, no spoilers, and only bumper mod is a choice between chrome or colored trim.

 

Furore GT - A two tone paint job, that's it. No spoilers, bumpers, hoods, nothing.

 

Hakuchou - This has no special mods what so ever from what I recall, just the standard mods every vehicle has.

 

Innovation - This actually has less then standard amount of mods, this doesn't even have wheel options for crying out loud.

 

 

I own a Corqutte Classic and Innovation and I do like them, but damn R* where are mods? One of the best things about dlc vehicles was you could always expect a ton of modding choices but the cars since 1.16 has really come off as lazy, like they just build the vehicle and couldn't be bother to add any options to it.

 

What's up with that?

yea pretty crap dude.. even the last good update in all was " Im not a Hispter" update.. probably my favorite out of the lot.. hopefully after next gen release.. it'll pick up again..

If I had to buy it I wouldn't only own the Corqutte and Innovation.

Lol what? So, you're excusing Rockstar for being lazy with their vehicle mod options? Even the cars that are in the base game have more customizable options. The new vehicles they just added have little to no options.

 

It literally is as if they just threw the DLC (or whatever this garbage is) together and released cars as an afterthought.

Edit: I take back what I said. As much as I like car modifications, they don't make or break a vehicle in terms of "laziness".

 

I find the Coquette Classic and Hakuchou fun to drive and enjoy using them, so I'm leaning towards no here.

The Hakuchou is awesome for real life motorcycle riders. It reminds me a lot of my GSXR1000. I never had a Busa so this is pretty close. Both my characters have it. Fun to wheelie, stoppie and has a great top speed. At full speed it feels like warp speed especially in first person view.

All gtav dlc has been top draw stuff, they are modeled beautifully and they work great, nothing they release is below the standard of anything else in the game..

 

Just because you wish there was more mods available doesn't make what's there "lazy".... this is an insane statement, I wish there was more mods, especially on my sh^tsu but I love it all the same, same goes for many other cars/vehicles..

 

They are up to their necks in getting the xbone/ps4 release ready so thank your lucky stars they even put a update out with added content..

 

Yes this game has some issues, what game doesn't, but I dont see where the word "lazy" could ever be used in R★s case..... anal maybe.... but not lazy for gods sake..

My feeling is resources at R* are being focused on the Online experience for new platforms now as there been a noticable drop in quality and options in recent DLCs imo. Even the clothing and textures appear rushed. To be honest, I think this will be the norm going forward; simple updates with few options (such as vehicle mods and clothing) for PS3/360 and superior updates with more content and options for PS4/X1/PC.

I think the lack of mods has to do with the type of vehicles that have been released.

 

Most of the high end Sports Classics don't have any mods at all, so it makes sense that the Coquette doesn't have much. I'd say it has more than average for its class.

 

The Furore GT, again, a high end luxury car, many cars of that caliber don't have very many modding options in game.

 

The Hakuchou, none of the sports bikes have customization in the game, aside from carbon bodywork or a couple exhaust options. So this is to be expected.

Well i agree that the hakuchou should've had more mods or R* should've added the hakuchou custom as a substitute.

 

As for the innovation it's already modded by Liberty City Customs and was a character specific bike in TLAD hence the lack of mods.

I for one am grateful that they keep putting out all this for free, the amount of free stuff makes me wonder how much will actually come in paid DLC. The recent cars are all great additions. They try to give something to everybody so I cant complain. I would like to see more cars in each update but as long as they keep coming I'll keep playing. If we support their game they will support us with future content.

I read one thread and everyone says how they want to make the game a money sink so you will be forced to buy cash cards. I read this thread and some are complaining you can't mod new vehicles (spend money) therefore R* are 'lazy'. They just can't win, can they?

The added content is FREE. As in you don't have to pay a single cent for it. I know how much you lot hate Cash Cards, so no real money is going to it. If you don't like the new content, don't get it. It is that simple. They are under NO OBLIGATION WHATSOEVER to give you anything other than the Heists promised when the game came out. So stop being petulant little spoiled c*nts about it. If ya played before online was available you be a little disappointed with the bullsh*t made up restrictions.

I prefer owning only the cars that spawn in the game. Except for the Elegy which was an incentive to sign up for SC.

I've bought plenty of high end cars, just don't agree with the silly rules they made up about not being able to store them from the street.

They could've charged an extra fee to remove tracker from high end vehicles and force you to do a respray to keep the heat off ya.

Stiil love the game though.
