Pssst....because it looks cool when it drifts. Haven't you ever fish tailed on a wet road and over corrected to fish tail the other way then get it right and the tires bite the pavement and off you go? It was fun wasn't it? My neighbor is a jdm geek, his car sounds so retarded backing out the driveway. Is a scion even a car meant for that culture?

I wouldn't mind a better sounding turbo on the vehicles, or maybe even a chance to make your rims small or bigger without being ridiculous. Maybe even add some better looking trucks, I' am a big fan of the new model Chevy Silverado. Wouldn't hurt to lower some prices either or maybe even have a sale sometimes, it cost a pretty penny to fully mod a car/truck.

The Impreza/WRX/STI isn't really a drift car unless you're on a rally stage. The R34 Skyline isn't either (if you're referring to the GTR)...

I look at it as an extension of doing donuts in a parking lot, just controlled around corners. And who doesn't like doing donuts!? amirite!?

 

OT: Things like the cageless Mesa and spoilerless Phoenix should be options through LSC. They are already available in game but for some reason R* doesn't want us to use them.

Also, being able to choose any color for our cars. Not just from R*'s pre-approved list.

I can't believe the step back the car customization took when compared to MC:LA. I realize GTA is a different style game but c'mon.

 

Last thing I think this game needs... A Comet that doesn't require the trunk to be shot off to loose the spoiler.

i would just like my exhaust to not shoot flames out, i could see maybe some cars doing that, but not everyone that i upgrade the exhaust on, 2003 called, they want their 2Fast 2Furious exhaust option back.... and another thing, if we can add a turbo, why couldn't they add a supercharger too? i'd rather listen to a supercharger whine then the annoying psshh from every vehicle you add a turbo too. (mind you, some cars sound nice with the turbo) /rant lol

And I'm pretty sure this is called GTA forums not REAL LIFE forums. So don't say I'm wrong calling it a Euro car. It's a Skyline / Datsun yeah obviously but in GTA it's Swedish.

The option to add bulletproof windows that break after a certain amount of shots (depending on the gun) so you don't die when you're either, driving away, or driving towards someone

wrx uses a 90/10 drive train drifts very very well. Bullet resistant would be better though glass breaks after taking x amount of damage. If its full bulletproof then you'll just have people using all cars like tanks running everyone over and shooting out the windows.

- Raise suspension for offroad vehicles

- Increase top speed when modifying engine

- Change engine sound to reflect performance mods

- Leave vehicle running with headlights/tail lights on after player has exited the vehicle

 

These are the points that come to my mind. It would also be nice to be able to take a snapmatic of a vehicle without having to get out and use the cellphone. Apparently in Rockstar's world nobody has ever crouched to get low angle shots with their cameras.

The engine not only has a whine and b.o.v. when you add a turbo, it also changes based on performance modifications already. A new transmission can add a more mechanical and sturdy sounding gear shift, and engine modifications give it a little airy sound and it makes the engine slightly louder and more aggressive.
