Kenny Loggins (DJ for Los Santos Rock Radio) pretty much just confirmed this song will be on the Next-Gen and PC versions of the game... He teased it on his weekly radio show on XM Radio. And NO, this is NOT an attempt to troll. The man himself literally just TEASED IT!

 

 

 

Wasn't Eddie Money the guy who sang "Two Tickets To Paradise" on K-DST in the original San Andreas?

 

[EDIT:] Are we allowed to post XM Radio links on here or no? You can listen to his tease during the radio broadcast.

I hope we get actually popular songs from the many great bands/artists in the 360/ps3 versions. Other than WCC half of the songs for each station were the less popular song(s) from each artist(s). "Dirty White Boy", "Radio Ga-Ga", "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting", even Loggins himself isn't immune to this.

This song was also rumored for Non-Stop Pop FM on a lot of websites and was even rumoring around on the Rockstar Support website but we'll have to wait and see. It would make sense considering Wham! and Hall & Oates are already on there.

I have no idea who phil collins is but after listing to the links you provided i think he is annoying. i wouldnt listen to it, not my type of music but you seem to love the sh*t of out him, good for you.

Isn't Los Santos Rock Radio supposed to be the classic rock radio, much like LCRR was in GTA IV or K-DST was in GTA San Andreas? Why is there so much borderline-pop crap from the 80s, that very special age when rock music started to become invaded with poorly used synthesizers and formatted for morons?

 

Sorry, but the music selection in V pisses me off so much. It's a game set in a replica of California, it was the home of rock in America during the 60s and 70s: They could have added The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, The Eagles, etc - But instead we get preposterous crap like what OP posted. The only two songs in the entire radio I really enjoyed were Odgen's Nut Gone Flake and Baker Street, everything else was either "meh" or "just... no" for me. Hell, there were even some great bands and artists, like Queen, Stevie Nicks, Dobbie Brothers, etc, but it's like they purposely got some of the worst songs to define their works.

 

I was hoping they were going to actually give us classic rock now that they are adding more music, but I guess that's wanting way too much. Not like I should give too much of a damn about it either, at this point I pretty much put on headphones and listen my own music when playing.

As for Phil Collins: He was a phenonemal drummer, a decent lyricist, and a terrible band leader for Genesis. Once Peter Gabriel left they went from a great progressive band to terrible AOR. I guess it must be some sort of retarded teenage hipsterism to cling to awful '80s acts like Kenny Loggins or Phil Collins in 2014, I honestly don't understand it. Then again, you're the sort of jackholes who probably think shooting the tires out for "stance" is nifty.

Old School Rap > Today's "so-called" music. NOBODY has talent nowadays... It's all auto-tuned, talent-less musicians.

Rap isn't real music... It died in the 90's. I was raised to like "good" music. Pink Floyd, Yes, Eric Clapton. Just STFU dude...
